Conductor Yasuo Shinozaki conducted for JPO in the Winter Season Concert 1. Yasuo Shinozaki, conducts with great passion and you can see it on the podium of JPO. The JPO preformed Franz Joseph Haydn, Symphony No.94 in G Major, "Surprise", Camille Sain-Saëns Piono Concerta No 2. in g minor, Op.22 with the Edith Peña on piano, and the last section of the work by Robert Schuman's, Symphony No. 4 in d minor, Op.120.

Yasuo Shinozaki will be on the podium for the two weeks of concert programmes of the 2019 Winter Season. He was born in Kyoto in 1968 and studied conducting with Nanao Yamamoto and Taijiro Iimori at Toha Gakuen College. He has an amazing repertoire, which includes conducting for BBC Philharmonic, Bournemouth Symphony, Frankfurt Radio Symphony, Finnish Radio Symphony, Swedish Radio Symphony, Belgrade Philharmonic and Latvian National Symphony just to name a few. Yasou Shinozaki shared the stage with Edith Peña.

Edith Peña is Venezuelan and was nominated for Best Classical Album in 2016 Latin Grammy Awards. She was only four years old when she started to study piano, she studied under Susan Starr and later with Sergei Babayan in Cleveland. She travels the world with her great talent to countries such Germany, Austria, Poland, Russia, France, USA, Mexico , Peru,Dominican Republic, Spain, United Kingdom and Canada. She lives in Madrid.
