ОтветитьLove, love, love your site. I've been printing on and off foR some time and find youe site very helpful. Soooo many ideas, problems solved, and inspiration. Thanks.
ОтветитьOh my gosh! You are a genius! Thank you. I just started making Gel prints and I already have a basket full! This is a brilliant way to use them. I especially love how you use the ugly ducklings. Perfect for Christmas ornaments and cards!!!
ОтветитьJust found your videos and I’m a fan. I’m also a fellow hoarder. I just want to make more all the time. I sort my prints in scrapbooking plastic containers and even those are overflowing. It takes discipline to work with what you already have! Maybe exchanging some of the hoards might be fun. 😁
ОтветитьJust wanted to let you know that I am thinking of you and hope all is well. You are missed.
ОтветитьThank you for the info and the encouragement. A question what paper you use beside copy paper?
ОтветитьSuch great ideas! So happy I found your channel.
ОтветитьI literally learned how to do gel prints from you...Yeap I got a ton now 🙃and couldn't let go or finish.. WHO KNEW you'd give us a system to organize and then a bonus on how to actually find new suggestions how to add additional technics that help us "elevate the looks" and not have to always start from scratch 😉. I'm so excited to dive in my stash now.
ОтветитьI also cut out a lot of 3/8-inch strips for washi tape. From the B prints and even the C prints, and especially the brayer-off sheets. I too use everything I print to make backgrounds for cards. Love this video, Ingrid.
ОтветитьIngrid I need to pick your brains, ive watched most of your tutorials on here and Ive seen you use white stuff and a paint brush and you tap it for like a snow falling effect , i just cant find the right video again lol x
ОтветитьWhat do people do with their finished journals, cards, etc?
I don't have enough storage space where I live for much more than my supplies and worktable.
I have over 500 background prints.
I asked a FB group for advice, one of the women ask me to send them to her on her dollar.
She plans to take them to a senior center and have the seniors create things with them.
I'll be keeping some but most will go to her to make room for the next set of 500+ prints I want to pull.
I love your can do attitude it pushes me to do something with all those prints lol
ОтветитьHad to catch this on replay...your gelli prints are always amazing! <<hugs>> Off to check out Kerry's video!
ОтветитьI only have 2 piles ‘finished’ prints that get stored by dominant colour with my patterned papers and unfinished which I leave on my desk to finish first next time the gel plate comes out. If I have roll off sheets I put them in my paper scraps for die cutting.
ОтветитьMake a collage painting with them!
ОтветитьGreat idea 👍🏼
ОтветитьDo you accept messages via Messenger or email?
ОтветитьI’m so grateful I found you and your channel! Gelli printing was an enigma to me, and I have to confess, something that I didn’t take all that seriously. Wow!! Dummy me! Your creations are amazing! And I admire you and your style of presentation. It’s as if we’re right next to you in your studio. Thank You!
ОтветитьUnrelated ( kinda ) comment: I wonder if anyone else would want to buy anyone else’s extra prints to use to make pins? lol
ОтветитьYou just made my month, with this video! I hate throwing them away too, it’s like my brain says “It’s the principal of the matter! You can’t quit on that mess now!” 😂 SO glad you gave us this sorting idea!!! I have the perfect place for ABC paper bins!🤩
ОтветитьWhat a great system. I need to pull out all mine and sort them. Thank you!
ОтветитьI just love this I am so there
ОтветитьGreat ideas! 🤗🥰
ОтветитьI 🤔 think I need to do as you suggested and keep working on some backgrounds I already have. Maybe that's why I don't like them, they are not done yet? unfortunately they will never look as fantastic as yours. 😑. Thanks for the encouragement to divide and conquer!
ОтветитьAwesome!
ОтветитьExcited to see you have a coaster video coming! I was going to ask how you created the coasters.
ОтветитьCan you tell me what the paper is that you use
ОтветитьTear, punch, trim and repaint or add more ink! I organize by color for smaller pieces to save for cardmaking!
You are right, Ingrid...the stash increases with creativity and printing sessions! Thanks for your insights!💙🧡💛❤️💜
I didnt realize till I watched your vid, I do an a and b pile already and have c pile that I didn't realize I had till you brought it up. I like how you impart your information, catches my attention.
Ответитьthis is so cool Ingrid!! love these ideas!! I never think to use the ugly ones LOL
ОтветитьI would love to buy your gelli print on deli paper, use them to cover tags, atc, etc. Love variety 😍
ОтветитьSo true!!! I have so much and do not want to get rid of!! Thanks for sharing!! That helps a lot!!!
ОтветитьOh man I have a problem getting rid of things too. Ahhh.
ОтветитьI used to use the ABC method of organizing my gel prints. However, for me personally, it didn't work well. I now just have all my gel prints in a box. The prints that I originally thought were not good enough or not finished, are often the ones that I want to make something with. The 'ugly duckling' ones as I call them, often turn out to be just right for my project I am working on. Having said that. your ABC method is great, if that works for you! It gets back to what works for YOU! Great video Ingrid, many thanks and stay well:-)
ОтветитьStil trying to get started! I wish I had half of what you have but your channel has given me lots of ideas and inspiration!
ОтветитьGreat informative video 🥰 I love your backgrounds and your projects ❤ thanks for sharing your creativity Hugs xx
ОтветитьHelpful information & I love seeing your prints/cards. Thank you!
ОтветитьI love this system! The concept of building more layers onto the B prints in the future is incredibly helpful. Yes to creating more A prints, less b prints!!!! Thanks, Ingrid!
ОтветитьAWESOME tips and you have solved my fears about gel printing! I was able to try it and I love it but I am so not looking forward to a pile of unused backgrounds! But you, my friend, just gave me the right tips to tackle this! Thank you from me and from my gel plate 😂💖✨
