May have been a little later in development than the beta we got recently. Maybe they removed the ball and long spring effects due to hardware constraints... Interesting though

This is from an Italian or French commercial for the first game. The beta that was leaked recently does not contain these features. Since that was the only version that was known to have been sent out to the public in some way or another (for gaming magazines or tv coverage), it’s impossible for there to be a version that would contain these parts. Add on top of that, every single piece of beta footage we have that documents nearly every level, does not showcase anything seen in this video. Given how showing off the technical power of your console and game was common place back then, it would be safe to assume they would showcase this, no? Unless Sega decided to give random one of a kind footage to a European advertising firm, or some maniac broke into Sega HQ and taped footage of this extremely specific build of the game, it’s likely that this is just marketing pizazz

People mention this is a far cry from the analogue horror videos we see today, but for the time period this was posted in (2010), this could have been a jump scare video.

This is fake, because the prototype for this game has a noticeable difference. The "rings" In the prototype just says "Ring" Look closely in this video and you can see it says "Rings" And not "Ring"

This is a later prototype, that came after the sonic 1 prototype that was found in 2021. Because: In this prototype the word "Rings" is shown insted of "Ring", The Ball in ghz act 1 is gone, Robotnik's wrecking ball spins, has no real design and is red, Mbz has the long spring which there is a unused spring sound that sounds like it was going to be used for the long spring, LbZ has been improved quiet a bit from the last prototype, and yeah looking more compleat then the last prototype.

It would be good if these are in final version i like mostly the spring

That wrecking ball animation is so smooth that it couldn't be in the game since it causes fatal lag.
Same goes with that long and extended red spring.

This Is Most Certainly A Beta. The Wrecking Ball Has Different Sprites, Despite All Earlier Builds And Even The Final Game Having The Regular One, They Might've Experimented With Different Sprites. Anyways, I Believe The EXTRA Long Spring Is Probably Edited.
