Nice video! We were just there 2 days before you... fell in love with a mirror in the Gilbert Ortega Store ..hoping they still have it next week when we move!

We were up there a few weeks ago. Beautiful place to walk around and enjoy the day. We hit up that Sugar Bowl spot for some root beer floats and read all the Family Circle comics on the walls.

Getting close to our mid 50s and starting to think about wintering in AZ. I’d love to move there but hubby is an engineer for automotive industry here in Michigan and it doesn’t seem like AZ has jobs in that field for him. I told him he needs to change careers, lol. Looking for a fun active affordable 55+ condo community that is affordable. Suggestions anyone??

I was born at what was then called "Scottsdale Memorial Hospital" just a few blocks east of where you were filming back in 1977. Lived in Scottsdale until 2006, lots of changes in all those years and since!

Many memories . I worked with my folks and friends on first street around the blocks. 1980s early. Loved it
