Thank God for you ooo. My sister in-law went through that here in the US. And at the end of the day she was bleeding so bad so they ended up taking out her uterus.

First of all, I THANK GOD FOR YOUR LIFE, but this is kinda strange and unnecessary pain they had to put you through, I have 2 kids(in the UK)and after delivery they ask if I want to delivery the placenta on my own or i wanted the injection, i ask for the injection and the placenta came out in second without me evening pushing.
I think they should have that option in Nigeria instead of risking people's life.

Manually removing the placenta is also painful for the doctor.

After doing that, my hand aches for 3-4 days.

It'd be wise for you to give birth to any other kids in future, if you want, in that same hospital as they know your history.

In between, you have an amazing doctor

lol all i can is my consultant once told me during my gynecology rotations that most female medical students after witnessing labor and delivery and all the complications that can arise push giving birth a bit further in the list of things they want to do and me personally i have pushed mine further please this is a serious job God gave to women and yes Adaeze i was expecting you to say your doctors face changed because actually getting the placenta out is super important and going into the theatre was a better option to avoid it rupturing and causing problems THANKGOD for your testimony!!!

I had the same problem that the placenta didnt all of it and they put their hands inside to take the remains outside. And am soo worrying the next preg will be the same,am sooo worrying the experience i dont want to face again ohooo God.that pain is more than giving birth
