Is this a good product choice for returning EDH players to rebuild their arsenal? My group just got back into mtg around Bloomburrow after a long hiatus (like 10-20+ years) and we only have precons.

you can heat up the glue to be able to open the box without doing pull tab then reseal it so I like how they did the seal as well

They actually have the seals for people who want to keep the boxes for display. I think they had it for the Duskmourn nightmare bundle, which honestly was a cool box (the one that looked like a tv)

Literally the perfect gift for someone that you want to get into magic. Just enough of the tools you need to have fun making some decks that aren't total garbage, plus a box to hold them, a lifespinner. Some foils and special arts, and just a few packs so people can grok what those are like.

Yet, there's nothing that encourages veteran players to hoover them all up.

Going back to magic after more than 20 years, because started to play with my son and was looking for something new to start. So I am definitely buying this one, will be our christmas gift. Maybe will add one collector booster, just to have fun to open something special.

If you buy it at an LGS you get a full art foil darksteel colossus. Absolutely gorgeous.

Honestly, I am buying this for myself. I have been playing off and on for about 10-15 years, but I really got back into the game about 6-8 months ago and I play mostly Commander and don't have a very large collection to pull from when building or tinkering with decks. This looks like a great way to boost my collection and give me more options before looking to buy singles. I love all the extra stuff it comes with too. I think 50-60 bucks is right on the money value-wise.

The seal over the edge makes perfect sense. Scammers will have a hard time opening and resealing the ripp-off opening strip and the seal prevents less obvious open and reseal tries of the whole flap. Not that this would be a prime target for scammers, but better more security messures than less

Wow the algorithm recommended this...wildly cynical at most points while refusing to answer your own questions and crazy conjecture by reading the packaging. Many of the cards in the box are not included in the main set. All it takes is reading...

I plan to put that box on my desk at work so people can easily spot an eye catching display that signifies I am a magic player. The Foundations name might also ease people into thinking it is a way to introduce themselves to the game and give it a try.

I like this product except it is way over priced. This is a just rebranded Deck builders Tool Kit only you are paying 2.75x as much for 65 extra bulk cards and 1 LESS 14 card booster pack. I loved the deck builders tool kits you got 100 basic lands, 125 semi-randomized cards (mostly bulk staples and the semi-random was that you would get a zombie/angel/vampire block of bulk uncommons and a couple rares and 4 15-card booster packs (3 from the last 3 sets, and 1 from the current set) for $19.99. I don't think 65 bulk cards and a life clicker is worth $35 more and on top of it you get 1 less booster pack.
