Femke Bol had better not win this one because if she wins the USA will accuse her of doping.

There was too much ground to make up for the Dutch after the poor opening leg and after Klaver ran an average 400. Klaver runs great at times... other times, sluggish in her final 100m. If she's going too hard early, which she did here trying early to catch up because the opening leg was crap.

Mawdsley ran great. The U.S. was just too far ahead to start leg 4, and although some ground was made, the Dutch and Irish couldn't catch up.

The first leg was pretty much where this was won/lost.

Klaver is over-rated, I am not sure why the commentators always hype her up when she is not that good, the Irish runner was much better than her.

Matt Bolling is a beast on the 400m.

What Nigeria would give to have a girl like Adeleke on 2nd leg!

Mixed relay is a stupid track event, invented solely for entertainment purposes.
In short, the US mixed-relay team win is nothing to brag about.

To me Fenke to her team is as iconic as Marita Koch or Jarmilla Kratochvilova or Alison Felix were to their teams, you can always count on them!

Kendall Ellis was very lucky that Bol started 2 seconds behind her and also had to overtake several other runners around the outside in both turns, which add 7 to 8 meters (= 1 second) to the difference, of this 3 seconds in total actually close the gap to 1 second, but of course 3 seconds is to much to bridge. Bol did run an anchor leg of 49.5 which with the extra distance is equivalent to a real 48.5.

USA's lead off runner gave them a big lead to start with. Klaver looked slow and Bol had far too much ground to make up as well as having to deal with the Irish lady not giving in...

10 Women who broke 50.0 in 400 on relay split during the World Relays 4x4 Adelke did it 3 times and had the fastest split of 48.45, Also; 4th fastest 49.48, and 49.64. Paulino did it 2 times and had 2nd fastest split 48.93.Also 49.98 Kaczmarek did it 2 times and had 3rd fastest split 49.46. Nice to see Miller-Uibo back at tied for 5th with Bol at 49.54. I honestly thought Bol would break 49. Gabby Thomas was a nice surprise running 49.58 as a 100/200/4x100 specialist. Gonna be a great summer.

Ain't no way is Femke performing any magic with Kindalll Ellis. Ellis herself is a magician, and she knows how to run down or maintain a lead over another magician.

I'm surprised the USA team didn't grab another country's flag to drape around their victorious shoulders. Always remember to do your victory lap with the flag of Mexico, not the US (see: Leo Monzano).

Can't wait for the Olympics. Femke vs Sydney. If Femke has worked on her hurdling technique Sydney will have a huge fight on her hands as Sydney's hurdling technique was already brilliant whilst femke had plenty of improvement in her. Regardless of the result I will be super happy for either of them. My pick is Sydney by 2m. 20m to 3rd place.

Femke Bol is always a marvel to watch in that Nederland Athletic Association.
I'm saddened by the fact that she's always on the receiving end as far as pressure to win is wholly left for her as her solo responsibility from time to time.
In this race, it's beginning to show that fatigue is catching up & taking its toll up her.
She needs rest & not only that, she needs to have dedicated & committed athletes like her in order for them to share the same pressure as she normally does.
