Did you happen to have break down of the costs? Always looks so expensive to me with price wood, fill, etc. Like I don't want to spend more for that then I did for my pool.

Let me get this straight. You needed a piece of equipment to grade your yard, but you own a tractor? This is exactly what you need to grade your yard. You didn't want to disturb the swales in your yard, but YOU HAVE A TRACTOR! What am I missing?

I put indoor outdoor carpet over my whole compacted base under my pool to cover all the sand that would otherwise be exposed. No dirty feet or toys getting into my pool.

Galvanized or zinc plated is the same thing. To galvanize is the proces, so to galvanize with zinc means it is zinc plated. Others metals can be use for galvanize.

it's good to mix sand with a small amount of concrete just enough to bind it a bit, otherwise the ants will carry it away :D

Should of used the tractor and removed the topsoil layer before laying the stone

I know this may be a dumb question, could you have laid planks on top of the frame instead of filling it with the gravel and sand?

I purchased a 10' tound Intex piol ahd showed my friends. He bought one as big as yours and instantly become 'Father of the Year'.

I would have dug a hole for it if I had a tractor with a front end loader.
