On Devilbiss web site is written that we should spray with H1 aircap from 175mm.

I have been outta painting my own yachts for years
Have dug out an old gpi hvlp pressure gun, need a baffle kit , that was a weakness with em as sometimes the synthetic  turned in the gun bloc
any ideas where I can buy parts in Au
there is a vid here of mine 54 yacht, sprayed with linear urethane--killer paint
bout to paint  a vt holden, never have used acrylics or clears before, so watching you car painters , cheers--oh wont be using the pressure setup for the car, bought a cheapo top loader from paint city although do have a devil biss syphon gun

i would like to see your version on how to adjust your spray gun with masking paper and show us the right spray pattern, wrong spray pattern and what to do to fix it.. also spray gun troubleshooting.. thanks

Thanks for the info I just received my Devilbiss Tekna Pro lite. After watching you spray with all 3 top guns I could see that the devilbiss was up there right with the iwata and the sata I am going to spray both single stage urethane with it and clear coat and compare to others. If I like the way it sprays clear I will purchase another one for that only. If not I may bite the bullet and buy the Iwata supernova. many years ago I used devilbiss before the hvlp rule and always got good results. But today with HVLP and new low voc 2.1 clear coats it is harder to spray things flat. (no orange peel). unless you reduce your clearcoat which is a no no.

By the way forgot to mention you spray like a machine. Great work.

Do you use a Devilbiss Pri-Pro primer gun at all and if so, do you use the same settings as your base/clear guns?.

can i use Devilbiss gti pro clear 1.3 for base and clear?

when you change the air cap, do you have to change the needle too to match the air cap?

I'm getting a devilbiss pri 612g what tip do you use 1.4 or 1.8

Hi gun man , i have the pro lite ive only like 10 times and the air cap seal (the white seal that goes around the inside of the air cap ) has torn does that affect how it sprays or do i need a new air cap?

Id just like some PRO advice..
im thinking of buying a devilbiss gti pro but the tip is 1.2mm and cap is transtech T1.. Can this be easily changed to HVLP cap with a 1.3 or 1.4 tip?? or would i need a different gun?? (As seen in 1 of your videos 1.2mm was used on a mazda and you mentioned you wouldnt use that tip and cap on a bmw etc youll use a 1.3/4mm with hvlp cap..)

what ir cap u are used ?

Gman...... have you ever used a Kremlin gun? They are the only gun that has a visually different air passage and atomisation technique. I have gotten some terrific off the gun peelless layout with them. They are French made and truly quality. I love the D vil prolite and thank you for turning me on to it. Of all the guns I have from Sata... Walcom... Devilbis.... Binks..... The Kremlin is the black sheep... Their air assisted airless is top notch... But if you get a chance I'd love to hear your thoughts on a Kremlin. Thanks brother in guns for helping us all.

I was wondering too, if those gfg guns were genuine or what.. there were also aircap option.. like c1 and c2 if I wasnt mistaken..

I have just been gifted a pair of guns a GFG513 gravity fed and a JGA558 bottom fed, I'm a spraypaint artist and never used such huge equipment so am watching your videos to learn about these beautiful guns. I have an iwata pro compressor and can't wait to use them but I need to be educated on them before I use them💪🏼 thanks for your videos I have lots to watch 😱
