"SO WE FIX OUR EYES NOT ON WHAT IS SEEN, BUT ON WHAT IS UNSEEN, SINCE WHAT IS SEEN IS TEMPORARY, BUT WHAT IS UNSEEN IS ETERNAL."

"These spiritual things--these "unseen" and "eternal" things--these are the things that we can count on.  These are the things in which we can place our trust, knowing that if we do, we will not be disappointed.  Christ alone is able to assure us of the things that we need and desire the most--the "unseen" things that are of far greater value than anything that this world has to offer: things like peace, love, joy, forgiveness, hope, and everlasting life.  But in reality we are missing so little in comparison to all that we have to gain by fixing our eyes of faith on the Lord Jesus and the spiritual, "unseen," "eternal" blessings that He has purchased for us with His own blood.
 

May the Lord bless your hearing of His Word, using it to accomplish in you those things for which He gave it. May you be enriched and strengthened in faith that you may leave here today to go out into our world armed with the whole armor of God, prepared to be able ambassadors of our Savior Jesus Christ.
