Love that wheat color in Straight up with a twist
ОтветитьSo if you are dealing with a non heat friendly fiber, maybe use lower heat setting on dryer? Also... could you just mist it then put it in place (maybe clip) and let dry overnight?

ОтветитьI like the wig you are wearing which one is that?
ОтветитьGreat Suggestions !
ОтветитьI finally tried to wig and found one I really like, and then I ruined her bangs when I tried to lift them off the face, I used a heat brush 🥴
ОтветитьOh good a more recent video. Honey, as a stylist, and I'm sure you have a reason you do your videos this way, but when you have a client that is trying on wigs...set up a chair, and have them sit in it for your videos. That translates better for the audience, rather than trying to manipulate while someone is on a couch. I know I would enjoy your videos better, and it's more professional. ✂✂✂✂
ОтветитьWhat is permatease? Up close on what you showed on the wig, it looks like a rats nest.
I can’t say enough on how helpful this video has been for me in just starting on my wig journey. It really allows us to see how you actually achieve making the hair do what you want. Please keep these videos coming as they are a tremendous help. They help not only the physical part of working with the wig but the encouragement to do so that boosts our confidence. Some of us are more isolated on this journey than one thinks. Thank you so much.
Funny you should do the curling section. I use a curling iron, not anything with bristles as the hair can get tangled in the brush. But it's a fabulous way of turning a bob into a beach wavey bob. It works for shorter bobs too or even lightly layered bobs . Just use a smaller width flat iron! I also learned to reverse direction every other beach wave you make so it looks natural and not clumped together! And, as you demonstrated if you pull the flat iron thru your hair slowly, you'll get more of a curl than a beach wave if that's what you're looking for! I'm so obsessed I've got 3 flat irons in different widths. My fave is 1.5" flat iron that as rounded...yup rounded...edges with temp settings that I'm crazy about too! ❤
ОтветитьI had about a year dry spell of buying new hair and went a little coo coo recently buying more than several! 3 toppers and rest wigs. So far, only one was perfect right outta the box. I have 3 more left to come, and now, after watching this video, I am truly excited to get to work and own that hair! Those in the boxes and those yet to come. Thank you, thank you! You truly are a blessing in this journey we have all been called to. It's your purpose, and you answered the call well.
ОтветитьGreat job! Love your tutorial 🤗
ОтветитьBall point pins are thinner. Won’t make holes…
ОтветитьIs it okay to try to train the style into place with the hair dryer after washing while it is still damp? (a non-heat friendly wig)
Ответить"Don't give up" is an important part of this, for sure!
ОтветитьHi Frannie! Do the T pins used to secure the wig to the block head damage the ear tabs. Love your videos 😀
ОтветитьGreat video Fran, I wear my hair like that, but I can't get the lift, or stay back. Thanks ❤
ОтветитьFrannie what are attracts?
ОтветитьGreat job! I find it helps to watch videos from multiple people to pick up slightly new information. It's not hard to train a face flopper but you just have to take the time to do it well. Sometimes mine stay in the box too long because I don't take the time to make the adjustment. When I finally do, I'm so happy and wonder why I waited so long. You are so encouraging to both seasoned and new wig wearers.Thank you for taking the time to teach!
ОтветитьWow! Such great info for this newbie! About your facebook group, I've applied twice with no response. Perhaps I'm doing something wrong?
ОтветитьThank you, Frannie, for an excellent tutorial! Looking forward to you doing the same for non heat friendly wigs.
ОтветитьFantastic video, thank you Frannie ❤!!! I’m glad that I’ve been doing it right with the hair dryer 😁 gotta post my Belissima and check her for flops 😂
ОтветитьThank you for demonstrating these tools. I recently got the ROP hot tool (at a really good discount,) so beneficial to see it used to curl. I'm interested in the tressallure, but not at its standard retail price, particularly after reading somse reviews that it's easy to accidentally change the temperature while using it. Something about button placement? At this point, I've got all the sizes of the hot tools air brushes, so between them, the ROP hot tool, water, steam, and hair dryer, and a few styling products, I'm set for a while.👍
Anyway, after reading the ingredients of ROP Revive spray, it looks like I've gotta get my hands on some amodimethicone, because after reading about it, it seems that it is less likely to build up, and is a bit kinder to fibers, whether human or synthetic. So, on the search for the ingredient on its own, to add to a cone-free spray, or a premade spray that has amodimethicone as its sole cone, so I can test to see if I have a sensitivity to it.🤞
Thanks again, Frannie!🌻
Late to comment but I’ve watched this a couple of times. This is so good and helpful, thank you!!!
ОтветитьThank you for this video. Since I started wearing wigs, I struggled with a hot comb to train floppers. This looks so much easier! BTW, what wig are you wearing while styling the floppers?
ОтветитьIs the wig - washable - or dry clean only ?
ОтветитьWhat about using hot curlers?
ОтветитьThis inspires me to get out my tools and deal with my problem children. Haha Thanks for this tutorial!
ОтветитьThis is a great demonstration… thank you
ОтветитьGreat video, can't wait fir my wig head to arrive.❤
ОтветитьWhat are Aderon brands? Can the hot tool be used on all heat freindly wigs?
ОтветитьGreat informational. Thank you! Suggestion: When you curl, try combing and curling sideways instead of using the comb and curling tool down. Down is holding it horizontal, which is good for pageboy and flipping under. Sideways is holding your comb and tool vertical, which is good for curling away from the face or towards the face depending on which way you use the tool. You are fantastic, Frannie. Thank you!
ОтветитьAre you using a regular rattail come..it looks like it has white teeth and the teeth are wider. Also, is there a reason you did not use Rene of Paris tool from under the hair, rather than over the top? Very helpful video..thank you! 🩷V
ОтветитьWhat a great video! Thanks so much for loving us on this crazy wig journey.
ОтветитьGreat video Frannie! So glad you care enough about your customers to show these kinds of tips. It really helps to watch someone do it. ❤❤
ОтветитьGreat advice!
ОтветитьI missed not having a bathroom full of family and friends😂😂😂 but I love hanging out with a bad girl who breaks the rules😂😂😂😂❤❤❤
ОтветитьThanks so much for this video. Every wig I've bought recently
( I'm new at this journey,) has floppy fronts! So helpful!
Thanks so much for this video, Frannie. This helps so much.
Hopefully, I won't have to use any heat on any of my wigs. It's really amazing how you changed the way those face flops looked.
Thanks for the tips also!
What was the spray you used before using heat? Thank you
ОтветитьI ❤ the video Frannie. I get so nervous using heat. I am a cosmetologist so I can style and cut my wigs. My biggest problem is the lace front. I don't like using glue.. I cut my wigs lace shorter with zigzag scissors ...I don't think they look bad but my kids say they can still see th lace and I was trying to look as authentic as possible for Summer school and wear one wig and still my autistic 7th grader asked if I was wearing a lace front. I can't see close because of my age, but younger people can. Ugh. Any suggestions? ❤❤😂
ОтветитьI love that you did this it was very helpful. My challenge is that I don’t always like the “swoop” on my high forehead. I would love to keep the “feather” look without too much flopping. Any tips or tricks appreciated 😊
ОтветитьAmazing! Thank you Frannie!
ОтветитьThank you Frannie! I got a lot out of this! I appreciate you doing this- amazing that you can use that tool on SOME non HF wigs. that is huge! ;)
ОтветитьGreat video, Frannie! I've never used the blow dryer to train face floppers. That was so easy! I didn't know we could use the ROP to curl and it worked great on your Merritt!. Thank you! Awesome tutorial! xoxo Marlene
ОтветитьI'm sorry but i don't know what a "non adherent brand" is. I've never heard of that term. I've only being wearing wigs for a year and learning a lot about them including how to style them in all different ways, heat friendly or not. But this reference is baffling me!
ОтветитьGreat video, thank you!
ОтветитьI’ve never heard of “Adorance”? Is that a brand? How much is that tool? Any coupons or discounts? I loved watching you and love your channel!💕
ОтветитьFrannie can you use wig wax or wig spray to do the same thing? Which one would you choose?
ОтветитьThanks so much. Great video. Can you give us a comparable tool to the Rene of Paris?
ОтветитьThank you Frannie! You and your crew are the most helpful I have found! I have learned so much from you ❤️💖💕
