Microsoft Research Code Canvas

To anyone wondering, there is article «Exploring Code Canvas» by Kael Rowan where he explains some difficulties of implementing this system.

The concept is so great, why it wasn't included in Visual Studio ?
Anyone know any similar software ?

I should mention I'm working on a conceptually similar research project for C++, codenamed Conception.

This is the future of IDEs. I hope for C++11 support also.
