Great tutorial...the first time I've understood C2C!
..
So pretty!
ОтветитьHow could i adapt this as a rectangular bed shawl for my mum i was thinking 3x6 squares but would 4x8 be better? Or should i try something else
ОтветитьHello, I love you c2c gingham. I'm starting my own in black, gray and white. I'm wonder how would I do one with red black for like a red plaid look? Any suggestions
Ответитьok .... Christa!!!!!!!!!!!! I have wanted to make a Gingham blanket for so long, but i was completely intimidated because i've attempted to make a checkered scarf and i gave up because i wasn't loving it. When I saw you did this in C2C i was completely intimidated. I just watched a portion of your video .... I CAN DO IT!!! I love this method, and of course, your instruction is impeccable!!!! I am so excited, now I have another blanket on my to do list!!!! thank you soooo much for making so many things possible for me!!! I love you so much!!! <3
ОтветитьI can’t wait to do this one. Thank you
ОтветитьHow many yards of yarn for this project?
ОтветитьHello Christa,
Would this be okay in a DK yarn please?
Love your tutorials 😊thanks
ОтветитьWhat is the finished size of this?
ОтветитьOh my gosh. I am "hooked" on C2C . This is so exciting. Cant wait to start. Just having a tough time finding the ICE yarn.
ОтветитьWhat hook size should I do? I’m use I got red heart 4
ОтветитьBEAUTIFUL!!
ОтветитьUmm, how have I not seen this video? Definitely adding this one to my to-do list!!
ОтветитьLoved it!😍😊🧶
ОтветитьThat’s the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen!
ОтветитьCould you do the whole blanket without cutting. Maybe carry the yarn?
ОтветитьNice, 👍😁👌🙏
ОтветитьI love the colors. Can I make this with regular granny squares, regular or solid? I am not a fan of C2C.
ОтветитьWell this is absolutely beautiful. Thank you so much for taking the time to explain so thoroughly. Definitely on my to do list. Off to be more yarn, lol
ОтветитьAwwww GORGEOUS 🧶💗🤍💚 I will be making one for sure !!! Love it thank you...Caroline from Canada.
ОтветитьI followed your link to the ball winder on Amazon but it is unavailable
ОтветитьNever could understand the pattern before you showed me thank you now I can try!

ОтветитьWhat a wonderful tutorial!!! Beautiful pattern and very well explained.
I learned to crochet recently and I want to make a blanket for my niece. Now, with the help of your tutorial, i will be able to do it.Thank you very, very, very much. Blessings from the Azores! :)
What is the finished size of this blanket, please!
Ответитьi have a question. what size is the finished product?
ОтветитьIf it's too hard to get under the top 2 loops - which would be 4 strands - just grab the four strands between your thumb and forefinger and use the crook of your hook to grab hold of the spine or the backbone (whatever you wish to call it) of your beginning chain, like you are taking a bite of it, cuz really, that is the mouth of your hook... pull it open enough so that now you can just shove your hook on through much easier and get yourself oriented as to the next step to finish your stitch.
There is a warning to this, I have given this advice to people and they have just continued to go through with their familiar motions and have forgotten to reorient themselves to what would be a normal action. In other words once they stuck the hook through they made a motion that acted like it was some kind of a yarn over or some kind of a stitch where you might enter from the back or something I don't even know how they screwed it up but they ended up twisting their Foundation row. So if you're looking at a mess and you don't know what to do but you've got your hook through it lay it down and look at it untwisted or whatever you've done to it - if you have - and realize that the top two loops and in this case it is 4 strands, because you are using two skeins, are now or should be, on top of your hook and the spine of your chain should be at the bottom. Orientation is over complete your Stitch.
👍👍🌹🌹🌹
ОтветитьAwesome Christa!! Thank you! Just finished this blanket for my nephew’s baby boy. I made it in slate blue, apple green & tan…looks amazing!
ОтветитьHi Christa...I watched all the way thru, love your tutorials...I don't gave the yarn or the time right now but look forward to making one of these as soon as I can. You even make sewing in ends (which I hate...lol) look easy & fun...lol! Thanks for all you do! Love, hugs & prayers!
ОтветитьLove that you showed the planning process so we can easily transfer this to different colorways
ОтветитьIt looks like you are using a 4 weight yarn. It’s kind of thick looking (no criticism intended), and unyielding, but it might be better to use a double strand of a lighter weight, like a 3 or 2 weight. Just thinking out loud. Thank You for this tutorial!
ОтветитьHow big is the blanket when it’s done?
ОтветитьThis tutorial is amazing! I just love the gingham look.
ОтветитьHi, I know I'm late to the 'party', but that's the beauty of still having these wonderful tutorials available 2 years on!!! 😍 I am so excited with how my blanket is looking, yay!! BUT, I am a bit concerned that I am only half way through row 3 and my squares all seem to be leaning to the left???? Did anyone else experience this please?? Will it just keep getting worse with each row??? Or, will it 'come good' when I add the finishing border???? I am thinking of working alternate rows in the opposite direction to see if this helps, because although I can see a difference between the 'front' and 'back', maybe if each row is worked alternately, it won't be so noticeable???? Any advice/suggestions would be SO much appreciated 🤞🤞
ОтветитьThank you Christa for a very easy tutorial and I love the border!!
ОтветитьThis is really cool, normally I dont have a problem following right handed patterns as a left handed person. I have followed right handed patterns for as long as I have been crocheting (about 3 yrs) but c2c is tricky. This is my first attempt at C2C, however I have been crocheting for about 3 yrs. So I dont think of myself as a beginner anymore, but would be great if you could either do a left handed one or if you could give the option to flip the screen so I can follow it better. Thank you from myself & all the other left handed crocheters out there! ❤
ОтветитьI just wanted to let u know that I made this (with different colors and made it a bit smaller)and posted the finished project on your FB page! I wanted to know how u thought it turned out. This one was a gift for a friend who is about to have a baby girl, but I enjoyed making it SO MUCH that I wanted to make another and try to sell it. How much do u think I should sell it for? Thank you so much!❤️
Also, I wanted you to know that I normally do not watch any Crochet videos unless its a tutorial also I NEVER allow notifications HOWEVER 😂. I have turned ON notifications for you and you alone!!!☺️😉
You have gained a fan over here and I am very much enjoying watching your crochet vlogs also love seeing your wips & can't wait to attempt making "Frank"😂🎉❤️. So THANK YOU!!!!! Much love to you & yours!🥰
Oh my, finally someone who holds the yarn the way I do.
ОтветитьWhat pretty colours for a child's blanket..... a very nice piece ⚘🌹🌺💐🌷🥀🌸
ОтветитьWOW 🥰... MUSZĘ taki zrobić 😁
ОтветитьGorgeousness! 🤣😂
ОтветитьGetting ready to make this and trying to understand the skein count. You said 19 100gr skeins, 12 of the white, 6 of the pink and 6 of the green. If my math is correct that's more than 19. I'm not ordering off ice can you please give me the yards total needed for each color? TIA
ОтветитьBeautiful blanket Christa. What is the approximate size of your blanket?
Ответить
