I have used the UNI Jetstream refills in sizes from D1 up. They are remarkable writers. I'm glad that Lamy now has access to that technology.

As an alternative to the M 17 refills, Yafa makes refills for Lamy. $10 for a pack of 2 refills. I have also bought refills for Parker and Waterman from them

You find some of the strangest stuff, LOL! I have some Uniball Jetstreams Rt's for over 18 years and they just keep writing, I still write checks, and the ink is fraud proof, at least the ones I have.

The M17 refill looks awesome. I got a Lamy Safari ballpoint a couple of weeks ago and don't like the ink. The pen itself is perfect for travel. I modded mine with a piece of G2 refill tube to fit a Pilot BRFN-30 M which I like. I use Dr. Grips in my home office. But having a proprietary refill with Jetstream ink will be better. Now I just have to find some.

The only thing I could find on Notsu website, was at the end of their ToA - they are based at 439 Littlefield Ave in south San Francisco. But nothing about whether they manufacture everything themselves or import?

I write with fountain pens, with pencils, with both glass and metal dip pens, with river reed pens, with quill pens, and even now and then with gel pens, but nothing can make me write with ballpoint pens. There are limits to my depravity, and ballpoint pens are that limit.
