This movie cost a few clips of the sun to make, the acting is rubbishy !!

Complete nonsense everything in this movie is wrong about the sun and earth.

Watched 1 hour then gave up.

The science is bad but the story is very good and well worth the time spent.

Oh , so I guess it is good to have a gun in the house.

Unfortunately,, our sun is too small to explode as a supernova. That destroys the base of this story from the very beginning. They could build it with just the storms.

Good film but such inconsistency in location. One minute they're in England but scenery shouts USA plus they have guns? People can't carry guns in the UK. I assume the guy on death row in the States as there's no death penalty in England but somehow he's ....in England? Some cars have US licence plates....but they're driving on the left hand side of the road but some cars have UK number plates?? And the scenery! Nothing like that in the UK. I could never figure out where the billy hell they were. Oh, well. Other than these glaring inconsistencies, the film in and of itself is worth watching with some pretty good acting. Just ignore the schmaltzy ending ending.

Came here for the thumbnail, stayed and was treated to an interesting end of world scenario movie. Spoilers:solar flares threaten to destroy the world but the sun doesn't explode as predicted. 6/10 for no big kaboom.

This simply highlights that there is no solution to what the future holds in store for the earth. There's literally nothing anyone can do to predict when that comes.
Solar flare or Asteroid. No one knows. But there are people on the Left that think they can fix anything, given enough money. And they will try. I wonder how long
it will be before Progressives and Environmentalist realize the only way to effect change for their global warming agenda, is to eliminate countries that pollute.

With this budget to make this movie with this "topic", brilliant and very interesting! To bad that they not invested in good writers and scientific backgrounds in case " this happens". Serial killer, over the top military involvement, was totaly not needed in this movie.

This is a smart concept turned into a dumb movie with hilariously bad acting. As someone previously stated our Sun is too small to Supernova, but it can flare. In this movie, it was masquerading as a Supernova, flexing its flare when mathematically it was discovered to be a fraud and so it stopped, Apparently, it was only mad at Los Angeles as the ending scenes displayed lush greenery and flowing water untouched by the fraudulent Supernova...
