They need trauma response training or something for these dispatchers because I feel much more could have been said. Not at all saying she did anything wrong, just think more could have been said to distract him. Although he’s so unhinged it probably wouldn’t even have helped. But I work in a DV shelter and take crisis calls and I just feel I maybe would have done more to keep him distracted so he would take some of his focus off the victim.
