It is certainly one of the most interesting courses in the world, but far from most beautiful. This can't compare to the Augusta lushness and greenery, flowers, etc. Same for Pebble Beach, etc. But as always, the beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.
ОтветитьLovely when it’s silent. Break from all the inane drivel.
ОтветитьPete we're not scared of silence
Ответитьwhy play driver off the deck when you could have played a nice 5iron ... still got away with a Par though ... Jammy dodger ..
ОтветитьGreat content ... love it! You should come to Iceland, some very interesting golf courses around here! I'd be glad to help out ... kind regards from Reykjavik Iceland!!!
Ответить”I was afraid off that water hazard”
You mean the north sea? 😅
You have to visit thracian cliffs
ОтветитьNo reason to have a golf course here…but it’s beautiful 🥲
Ответитьwatched the Birdie marathon last night and wasn't disappointed...thanks for your awesome content mate...give us a shout if yer ever in Sydney !
Ответить*they're
ОтветитьLooks fantastic, just amazing landscape. That 9th green btw? 🤢
ОтветитьI've been playing golf for more than 60 years and it still irks me to see some professional players show how the greens mess up their heads by using weird putters like Peter's here, broomstick stupid things, etc. Come on guys! Be a bit more "professional " about the game and show some mental strength !
ОтветитьJust watched James and Chris play here. They lost a lot of balls.
Ответитьcannot tell you how much i appreciate you taking me to places i will never go and ALWAYS making it fun ..... ive said it many times please come down to play dent island and king island and man y of our other exceptionally stunning + yet exclusive courses ill never get onto ......and get some rounds in with ron chopper (it would be comedy + golfing GOLD)
ОтветитьWow. Just wow 😮
ОтветитьThose greens owe you about 5 shots
ОтветитьPeter I love your personality and your choice of courses. This course looks like it's from another planet . I was waiting for a dragon to come swooping down from the sky and grab you . Nice round .
ОтветитьIs he wearing jeans ?
ОтветитьI can only judge by your videos Pete, but I'm not convinced that your switch to the L.A.B. putter has in any way improved your game.
It feels like you were more consistent with your previous putter...
Just saying.....
finally subscribed , I might disagree with most beautiful, epic or stunning perhaps. Has Victor got the course record? You seem to have embraced Harrington's advice and its looking good on your channel. Maybe a Nordic challenge is on the horizon? Be well.
ОтветитьThe Wilhelmsen family is going to invest 50 million dollars in infrastructure in the years coming 👌👌
ОтветитьI haven’t played there. But I have gone up the mountain Hoven (367 m) in the back. A beautiful view! 🥰
ОтветитьWelcome to Norway
ОтветитьOpening line: "I wanted to play here all my life." Wait Peter are you 10 years old? The full 18 hole course was opened in 2015! The first 6 holes opened in -98 but they were not much to brag about to be honest...
ОтветитьI simply cannot explain how enjoyable your commentary is Pete. Sultry tones my friend.
ОтветитьWould recommend you visit the course on the Vestman Islands in Iceland, which is i believe the only course you shoot between continents.
Ответить"Their not vikings" - I pray whoever put that in is not a brit lmao
Ответить3 over didn’t look bad round there chap, well played
Ответить“Their not Vikings”. What the actual FFFFF? “They’re not”….
ОтветитьPretty for sure but I’m not a fan of all the rocks
ОтветитьOh this brings back all the good memories! Im a swede and went up to lofoten to play this course! We actually traveled all the way there with a electric car and it took us about 37 hours. But oh man the trip was totaly worth it. Already planing to get back there and play this course!
ОтветитьHave seen some stunning and remarkable courses across YT golf. But this absolutely takes the cake. Almost doesn’t seem real.
ОтветитьI saw this pop up on my feed and I was instantly jealous! This a bucket list golf course for sure! Well done!
ОтветитьWow, just plain WOW.
ОтветитьThank you for this video Peter❤ Lofoten is on my bucket list. I am a norwegian myself but have not made the trip north yet. Great to see you review this corse. If you feel the need for another norwegian corse and that course just happens to be in my city Larvik, gimme a shout 😊❤
ОтветитьOne of my favourite courses to play at the local Trackman simulator! Even possible to play it in “night conditions” with a lovely aurora borealis! :D
ОтветитьSuch a fantastic place! Had a chance to play it a few weeks ago during the midnight sun - started our second round midnight and played until around 5 am. The course, the views, the people, everything... simply awesome!
ОтветитьYou should visit stiklestad or Byneset! Both great courses in central norway😎
ОтветитьMusic is great too.
ОтветитьAND ROHAN WILL ANSWER!! 😂😂
ОтветитьPete nerding out with the LOTR quote is priceless 😂
Ответить🔥
ОтветитьI travelled to play it from London last week with my son - Pete’s video landed the day we came home….perfect timing!
We stayed in the Lodges and played 54 holes in 2 days, including a 9pm tee time. Truly one of the most amazing experiences of my life to be walking up 18 at 1am in broad daylight with my boy - the course is insanely good, every hole is super strong and a few epics, it is tough and tight, a proper test. Just a few holes, where condition is lacking, but it’s the Arctic circle and they’ve still presented the course amazingly well. Bucket list stuff for sure, we’ll be back very soon. Truly breathtaking.
According to Shiels, Royal county down is the most beautiful course in the world. Be fun for you 2 to have a podcast debate on the issue. Now, you boys mainly play European courses. You need to come to western Canada for some spectacular mountain golf. Start with the 2 courses at Kananaskis and go from there. 😁
ОтветитьI swear you and Rick have the same schedule both playing dream courses at the same time lol
ОтветитьAnother stunning and hugely entertaining video Pete. Oh and I love the Scouse accent at 12.45 👏👏😂
ОтветитьLooks fantastic, well played.
