If your family says: We cant keep up with hospital bill, we need to sell his stuff. What will be your reaction?

medical induced Coma feels like a 5 min Nap since you dont dream... you have a way to measure the paassage of time....Iwoke up from a month lonng Coma, felt like a 5 min nap!!!

on 3 june 2023 my brother went unconscious
His eyes rolled back
...and doctors told us that he has a heart attack and as a result have hypoxic brain injuury...
uptill now there is no complete treatment for this thing..

He was a healthy person before...

Its been 4 months now almost

initially he can only open his eyes with limited look around movement..
now
He can move his lips tongue and eyebrows a little.
And he also started to yawn..
and few times ..very few times..move his elbow,feet finger,shoulder and head a little.
When something is put in his mouth he try to chew it

Almost after a month he started breathing on his own... initially was put on a ventilator

doctors says from now it all depends on patient's will power to secure complete recovery..

He was initially having food through NG tube now doctors have inserted through stomach what they say as "peg tube".

He also have tracheostomy tube in the neck
Also mri scans have shown global or severe hypoxic brain injuury

He is only 33

Right now he is discharge from the hospital and we are caring for at home we are doing physiotherapy ourselves.

To protect him from bed sores
We are changing his position every hour on bed

I fully recovered from a coma. The worst part is the lost time. I literally feel like I’m still a young person when I’m actually an older individual. People you grew up with look like seniors, the stars you followed are old & beat up or passed away. The only good thing besides surviving is I still often get mistaken for being 20 plus years younger than I actually am. Perhaps not eating manually & being stress free. It all being considered; I wish I would’ve passed on. Imagine waking up & finding out people you were close to are dead. It’s like dreaming, more like a nightmare but it’s real. Be sure to let your loved ones know; how much you love them every single day

Btw I was clinically deceased for 8 1/2 minutes. I didn’t see all the paranormal phenomenon that people claim. I would remember something

I was in a coma for 2.5 months, I was pretty messed up. I suffered from brain sheer, which meens the skin covering my brain was punctured. Actualy I had bleeders all over my brain cause I was going about 80 mph and my car went off the road and shook so bad I was holding on to the steering wheel so tight I was shakin up so bad I even broke both colar bones.

I was placed into a medically induced coma twice in a month and a half between December 2022 and January 2023 due to a mental health crisis. I was in the comas for a combined two weeks. In the December incident, i went into cardiac arrest twice and had to relearn how to swallow, eat and walk. I was on full body life support and even though i haven't been officially diagnosed, i have been having nightmarish flashbacks ever since and probably have some kind of undiagnosed PTSD.

In January, i had a similar mental health incident and went into respiratory arrest and was on life support again, constantly needing my lungs and airway cleared, with my oxygen saturation levels occasionally under 70%.

Since then, my seizure frequency (im Epileptic) has increased and im typically unable to speak after my seizures now. Im not the same as i was but im so much better mentally now.

IF YOUR IN CRISIS, DONT GIVE UP! It's not worth it.

I've been put into 2 medically induced comas. You can hear things every now.
Both for extended epileptic seizures.

How do we even know if we are in a coma or not

In the summer of 2022 I had a cardiac arrest in front of my girlfriend and our baby daughter the Medics had to carry me down the stairs and do CPR apparently I had my heart stopped for about 10 minutes at least even as they were taking me away in the ambulance I wasn't quite living again. I then spent about a month in a coma. It has absolutely messed with my whole life I feel so lost right now. I just want to be the one person that I used to be but I don't know how to get back there.

In 2020 somewhere in 2022 I was in a coma. My parents didn’t know what was happening to me and it probably was a coma or it was probably a eating disorder. Anyway, I couldn’t eat hardly anything or keep food down my stomach.

My husband was once in a coma and could hear me. I spent every minute beyond visiting hours at his side that the doctors permitted. They saw on the many monitors that he was responding positively to my presence. Several refused to believe it, though. However, I had proofs that I could understand, and stayed with him till the very end. This was also a very moving experience of true communication between us. I still thank God frequently for His help and support then and now.
