Appearance of Impropriety: (The Ridenour/Martz/Clark Connection)

There is a difference between something that creates a "CONFLICT of INTEREST" and an "APPEARANCE of IMPROPRIETY"... where a "COI" can many times be illegal, and most always raises serious ethical questions... the "AOI" does not equal a "COI"... and it does not mean anything illegal is happening, but it can, and often times does create ethical and moral issues!

The problem here is the fact that the Mayor of Muncie, Indiana, Dan Ridenour (R)... ran for election to that office in the 2019 campaign... on the MAJOR PROMISE OF REMOVING EVEN THE SLIGHTEST "APPEARANCE of IMPROPRIETY!" Along with the Mayor... many of the City Council Candidates running for election back in 2019 ran on that SAME PROMISE! One of those Candidates was, in fact, Aaron Clark (R)... Clark, like Ridenour... won his election in 2019... but it seems like over and over and over... these two have found themselves in MANY situations where the "APPEARANCE of IMPROPRIETY" can be found! And this causes serious concern!

The situation on video is as follows: Councilor Clark has a FIRST COUSIN called Greg Martz. Martz is the owner & CEO of a company called GM Development! The company is a "contracting middle man" they work on projects, draw up plans, work with others that do research and help create plans for projects... and then GM Development helps find a company or workers to do the actual work!

Well, on a few projects in Muncie... the Mayor has wanted to use Greg Martz... but during the first project, something didn't set right! And when the Council was in the position where they were going to have to VOTE to approve Greg Martz for the work... which would cause Martz to get contracts doing work for the City, in which, he would be paid very highly... using tax payer money!

Well, all the sudden it came out, that Martz was the FIRST COUSIN of Councilor Clark! AND the kicker is... that did not come from Clark, Martz or the Mayor... that was found by myself and others doing hard work and digging into what information we had.

That first deal did not go through... but here, a year & a half later, Martz is... again, at the center of controversy! HOWEVER, NOW... IT SEEMS EVEN WORSE! Because NOT ONLY is Clark & Martz related! BUT NOW... Martz has given Ridenour $3,000 in campaign donations!

The "Appearance of Impropriety" here is GROSS!
