So, here's the problem - I'm not going to spend hours at a time in my new Highlander trying to work through this vast and complicated system. When they can migrate this entire system to a laptop I'll work on it. Until then, this entire system is nothing more than an accident waiting to happen. I can either drive safely or get distracted by this massive system. Can we just have a dial for the darned radio? Pathetic, Toyota folks, Pathetic.

Is there a Driver Speak Easy option in the 2023 Platinum? We used the option in a 2022 and was expecting it in the 2023. There is a microphone above the driver and passenger seats next to the sun visors. I have gone through all the settings and could not find anything.

Radio functions... as you travel you don't show how to find new radio stations as you travel, which for us means when we go to the grocery store which is 45 minutes away. The radio does not keep up and we are constantly trying to get some kind of reception, so frustrating!! Toyota really drops the ball on this feature, they assume you want to pay for ANOTHER subscription service.

Too bad the factory system is soooooo lacking in terms of content, no split screen showing audio and map at the same time, it’s just so lacking in cool features like Hyundai and other manufacturers

Seriously, what a weird, lopsided ,unbalanced design. It's just to distracting having the infotainment system in that Square on the Left, and pointing Right arrow looking thing.

Question: I had a 2020 Toyoata Highlander Platinum and was able to see a live weather radar map under the Info option. I just upgraded to a 2024 Toyota Platinum highlander but cannot find that option

What I find most disturbing is after paying for a service such as Pandora or Spotify monthly, I will pay again each time I play the music because of not owning the song that is playing my cell phone will charge the song as data ever time I play it. I would think that paying for the usage of the service should cover that. I suppose that most people do not look at the amount of data usage on their phone. I , for one, do not use a large amount of data so, I like to keep an eye on the amount that is being used. For this reason, it makes for financial sense to switch to Sirius XM- their total fee will cover the usage of the data each time a song is played because the phone will not be used, I believe the Sirius XM is used via the system onboard the Highlander. To get an even better deal- would be to get the package that includes video for home usage and audio for home usage on another device. I cannot believe that running music through one's cell phone would not have gotten more attention to being double charged.

Also, while one might enjoy the so-called privacy of speaking out loud on a cell phone has one not considered the fact that everything said on the cell is transmitted to the speaker located somewhere under the hood. People outside the car can hear your entire phone conversation. I noticed this long before I purchased this vehicle. I turn my engine off before I engage in a private phone conversation. How is that for tell the world you personal information?

Bought my car used and the previous owner didn't clear her info. I can't seem to do anything without entering a PIN that I don't have, any suggestions?

Is there a graphic display of your favorites so you don’t have to scroll up and down the left side of the screen for your AM/FM or satellite radio selections. I have a 2024 Venza limited 12.3 screen. I like the older system better but I’ll have to get used to it. Scrolling while driving is not safe

Good video. Very helpful. Apparently, this system does not allow multiple views on a single screen such as displaying a clock, media playing, navigation, and/or other information at the same time. I own a 2023 Highlander Platinum and was hoping for a single interface. Thanks for teaching me on other issues.

the screen is dangerous unless I am mistaken. the lack of knob scrolling for sirius stations makes you have to reach and tap.and the saved number of stations went from 36 on prior models to 18

Question: I use music on my phone to listen to in my Hylander. For example, I will select my music icon in carplay and my music comes up to play and does so without any problem. The issue is when I cut the vehicle off. When I start the vehicle back up...the carplay interface comes up, instead of the music app within in carplay. Therefore, anytime I start the car up I have to go through the selection of the music icon to get my music infromation. Is there anyway to eliminate this step to where things are the same when you start up the vehicle as it was when you exited the vehicle?
