Oh this one is so good! You will never root for Michael Keaton’s demise more than this film….well the character he plays anyway.
ОтветитьGreat choice! Love this film.
Ответитьexcellent film, i remember seeing this in theaters lol
ОтветитьThis Is DEFINITELY A "Must Watch" Movie!
ОтветитьHey Shout studios, bring back Space 1999
ОтветитьAnd the legal basics of this happen every day, especially in California.
ОтветитьGreat movie;Tenants are from hell!
Ответить"Only $1,900/month, $2,000 security deposit, and you need the first six months' rent IN ADVANCE? Uhh, woww. We'll take it?" "Aww, honey, it's the first time we've lived together!" "Yes. Listen to your, uh, girlfriend. You are saving so much money, are you not?" "Uhh, $12,000 for six months, $1,900 for the first month, and—" (swallows hard) "OH MY GOD. Let's paint all the walls saffron with polka dots!" "CASH. Where I came from..." "Yeah, right."
ОтветитьA realistic and accurate portrayal of a psychopath in this one.
ОтветитьMy wife and I went threw this in 1996 Asheville, NC. He even had family in the bushes recording me, trying to get me to strike him. I was one pissed off soldier. He destroyed the place. The reality company said, they vetted the guy but didnt. Apparently he was fresh outta prison. A realtor stepped up ,and apologized and even chipped in a couple Thousand bucks cause they didn't background check the guy.Thousands of dollars in damage. He even did the bug thing. Drained water bed on carpet, punched holes everywhere. Spun out on all the landscaping. I got outta rentals after that nightmare. Every time i see this movie, reminds me of the nightmare.
ОтветитьGood movie. Blows when this happens to you in real life. Shut like this really happens
ОтветитьI wouldn't want Beetlejuice in my house either
ОтветитьGreat film, great performances all around. 👍🏼A big part of the reason this film is so effective is scary scenarios like this are based in reality. Truly illustrates the dangers that can come with property ownership/management, rentals and especially with renters! 🏡🏘😱
ОтветитьThis movie sucks. Don't waste your time.
ОтветитьI've seen this nightmare of a tenant/landlord movie before and am suffering (LOL) through it again. I have 2 extra beach front homes next and close to my house and I refuse to rent them out to anyone. It really is cheaper to keep them unoccupied than rent out to a crazy tenant and do not want to sell them as they are all paid off so only cost to me is low taxes and some utilities. Had a campground too on my acres where one man in an RV had been staying for a month and knew the exact date he had to be gone by. Well, everyone else checked out by the close date but he decided he wanted to stay longer and I was unable to winterize the place and close for the season until he left.
He kept ignoring me so I cut off the power to get his attention. It did, and although I always collected the rate before everyone stayed, that time he neglected to also pay for that last week he was supposed to be gone already and overstayed his welcome but went home. Fortunately I had his information and had to send a nasty email that if I did not receive that payment, I would send it to debt collections. I wouldn't actually do that as I am not familiar with the process, but it must have scared him enough that I finally received payment and that was the end of him. The nerve of some people!
Locals pester me often to rent out the larger house as they all are across from the beach and in town plus there is a housing shortage. Know most people and their reputation here but the last one asking, I just had to look inside his truck to see the garbage dump inside it to know that is how he would teat my home. Nope, they are staying empty. Have adult kids who will probably move back here once I am gone or at the least sell all or most of them for $$$$$$.
