Thanks again Adam, always interesting. One thing I thought along the way was why no GIS anywhere? If they were to take from the TFSA earlier and delay the RRSP meltdown couldn't they benefit from some GIS? Thanks.

Informative! Paying more taxes means more cash in the pocket seems common sense but it's counterintuitive to some. Delaying Cpp and Oas seems difficult to understand. 7 to 8% return risk free is hard to resist. But it will take till early 80 to break even or catch up in collecting the same nominal amount.

Thanks again Adam. Even if most people watching have more saved than this it allows peace of mind morning even if investment shrink to $250k there is still an acceptable retirement.

Do these people pay property tax, home and car insurance? What if one of them passes away?

Thanks so much Adam for showing a plan with a smaller amount at retirement. This makes me feel way better about retiring.

What I really like about these videos is the concept that there are different options and by tweaking here and there, retirement is possible where maybe it might have seemed unrealistic. Every time I see a video, I learn something new. Thank you Adam! 👍🏻

Did you say that there is a RRSP tax bill if one of them passes away?

A few years ago, my employer introduced a 401(k) with no match. Unsure of what to do, I sought help from a financial adviser recommended by my employer during a seminar. ..With his guidance, I started investing in stocks and copytrading. Today, I’m thrilled to say I've grown my retirement savings to over $4 million.. If you're hesitant about investing, I encourage you to seek professional advice it can truly change your life

I was wondering if your plans incorporate cost/benefit of maximizing RRSP meltdown at the expense of losing some government benefits such as the Canada Dental Plan or Ontario Trillium.

I watch many retirement videos, I skip those for over 500k, this figure is relatable for most average ppol and singles. Thank you!

Ever do a video on retirement award and there is apparently a form to tell the govt hey this was a one time bump so dont base next yrs rebates etc based on that gross amount. as you put that in a TFSA or RRSP

Can you do a video on retiring off of passive income? If someone has a very big investment that pays a sizable yearly dividend income what kind of plan would you recommend?

What if a couple wanting to retire in their early 40’s not at 65, can they do it with 250k?

I think I need $60k a year in retirement. If it is possible at 65 with 250k saved, than it is possible at 64 with 310k, or at 63 with 370k, or at 62 with 430k, or at 61 with 490k ... and so on. Am I right?

Adam, it would be interesting to see your thoughts on using insurance to reduce the tax burden on estate with a surplus of registered assets. There appears to be a number of plans that have low risk investment holdings, as well as guaranteed death benefits payable when the last survivor passes. This is an interesting idea in the event that people, even after a meltdown, still have large registered accounts, RRIF, LIFF remaining that are exposed to nearly 50% tax.

This is realistic for many people. Not everyone has huge salaries or will inherit hundreds of thousands from their parents. The key is to live within your means throughout your working years ... and you'll be surprised how easy it is to transition to retirement.

Much of the gain in the 2nd plan is due to the high life expectancy of 90. Bring it down to a more normal 83ish and much of the deferral to age 70 is lost
