Absurd absurdity
ОтветитьReally wish they went with sky levels in all stars instead of making it water, woulda been a cool concept to enhance 😅
ОтветитьDon’t lie to us, we know you took a bite of the CRT
ОтветитьYou do not need to beat the game 8 times in a row to unlock the letter worlds. When you beat the game, there will be a star on the logo on the title screen, and the progress saves. When you turn on the game again, the star will still be there, and you get another star every time you beat the game (with or without warp zones). Once you have 8 stars, you unlock the letter worlds. With all the secrets they hide in the levels, it's not unthinkable that people would replay the game many times, especially to play World 9, so it's not a sadistic, torturous requirement.
ОтветитьIt's Famicom, not famicon
ОтветитьI don’t think some of the world 9 lvls were meant to be underwater. I think a developer slipped up and made them underwater stages. That’s probably why there’s normal level stuff in some of them.
Ответитьvery absurd indeed😭
ОтветитьI hope you never run into MattTheUrge. :s
ОтветитьI had All Stars for SNES but I never made it very far playing the Lost Levels. I also never managed to finish the original Mario game, yet I managed to get the least world a few times. I finished Mario 2 (the 2 we got in Europe) on NES and I finished Mario 3 but never on NES, only in All Stars and near the end of SNES lifespan. I also finished Mario 64 on N64 and that was the last Mario game I've ever played.
ОтветитьThe Lost Levels are very interesting
Ответить"famicon" is driving me crazy
ОтветитьSince it was a Famicom Disk System game, I think the game saves after you beat it. And stars get added to the title screen after you keep beating it. So after you collect 8 stars, you unlock Worlds A-D. So it's not that tedious.
ОтветитьIn the 2D games, Mario could kist stick his head behind the water whenever he needed to grab a breath.
Ответитьcrt means no input lag, thats why some people would rather use them for retro games. That being said, i think newer lcd monitors are pretty close to achieve almost zero input lag. The other day i played punch out on the switch online app thing, and i was able to beat mr dream tyson or whaever
ОтветитьLives on a planet 71% water on its surface
Complains a given world has 75% water
Hypocrite, much?
Find it a little unfair to completely shaft all the extra stuff SMBDX added because of the screen crunch and then pretend like it didnt add much
Ответитьwhat's the song in the background, i love that music
Ответитьsuper mario bros deluxe has so much new content, like bonus levels (it's in this game that the key coin that are in smm come from)
ОтветитьI love underwater levels in mario games
ОтветитьI mean, the Deluxe port for the GBC is probably referred to as "enhanced" due to all the other extras in the game. Challenges like target scores, red coins and hidden Yoshi eggs, boo races, even the decency of showing a little world map, stuff like that.
Oh, as for World 9... others already said this, no point repeating it. I like the World -1 aesthetic of the original best, honestly. But I can't say I don't like the idea of World 9 being underwater either tho - it honestly reminds me of Atlantis, with the whole Lost Level theme and stuff, and I'm a sucker for submerged lost land representation in games.
cool
Ответить"The Absurdity of the Lost Levels Post game is Absurd"
Well yeah what else is it gonna be?
Why do people say "expecially"? Weird.
Ответитьits not bowser in lost lvls learn the lore before making a vid on it XD its bowsers brother
ОтветитьYou should play the Deluxe version on Gameboy Color, it has other cool features the original doesn't have like Yoshi and Boo making an appearence in the game where Yoshi being a hidden object you can find on reguler levels, racing against Boo on maps, as well as a guessing game where you can earn lives and lastly, if you have the Gameboy printer, you can print out cool messages and wacky images like Mario wearing Real life round sunglasses which looks pretty uncanny (look it up).
ОтветитьYou don't need to get anything for beating a game on hard mode these new gamers just want cake all of the time that's why they sell us fluff now.
ОтветитьSome errors.
-Super Mario Bros Deluxe comes with extra game modes (including a simultaneous 2 player multiplayer mode) which is where the enhanced part comes in.
-The Water levels in the original are overworld stages using the underwater physics and pallet, hence the odd enemies.
-The image in the video claims they based the minus world on a glitch which takes the player to World 9, and not the Minus World. Miyamoto specifies the Famicom edition, and its world 9 has a night time underwater overworld. Could be referring to the FDS Minus world though given the unusual fortress being in level 3 matches up
The Japanese text says, "Thank you"
Ответить9-3's boss doesn't seem to be Bowser. In the FDS version he has the palette of Bowser's brother.
ОтветитьThis video sucks please leave
ОтветитьIn case you're wondering why it's called worlds A-D, it has to do with hexadecimal counting
Ответитьthe lostity of the absurd levels post game is lost
ОтветитьStage 9-3 looks like a Creepypasta.
ОтветитьI thought Bowser's brother was Wart?
ОтветитьI’m sorry, but C-3 isn’t too bad; if you’ve played that much of the game you’d understand how far forward Mario can get on screen - meaning you hold right you can roughly understand where you are off screen
ОтветитьI don’t care what Pixel Powerstar says.
world-e (from Super Mario Advance 4 and just SMB3 in general) >>>>>>>>>> The Lost Levels (mainly the versions on the Game Boy’s successors and to a barely lesser extent the Famicom version)
If you use warps in the lost levels, then beating 8-4 will take you to A-1 and world 9 is permanently locked on that save file
ОтветитьThe message in 9-4 translates to "Thank you!" in English
ОтветитьBut in the original you don't have to not warp to get the 8 stars to get A through D levels, you only have to not warp to get to World 9!! You CAN essentially beat worlds 1 through 8 without not warping… Also, arigatou is Japanese for "Thank You!"… I knew that though even back when "All-Stars" came out originally… and I mean back then I knew what Arigatou meant, not about the Famicom Disk System version 8 plays requirements, I know that because I have the OG Famicom Disk System and I beaten it completely…
ОтветитьI got 4 stars
