I did this by accident with a bath sheet I've had for a decade. It was outside in SoCal for a year on the side of the deck and it was sun bleached with a neat pattern with the stuff that was hanging on top of it. The on purpose version looks much better 😅

This a nice start, but check out artist fall paintings and see if you can create a detailed layered look using this technique.

Why is it always the dresses with pockets seem to be the most plain? Like I love buy black dress with pockets, but I feel like I'm wearing a potato sack given to some slave from some time era. It's like it's absolutely going for function 100%, And forgetting that I would like to dress with something that doesn't look like a potato sack.

You made that plain Jane dress into something special. I wish you shown the black one after it's transformation. It'll be neat to make it a fall-themed dress, like with pumpkins, since the blacks that are bleached turn an orangey color.

I suggest cardboard in between to protect the back and go outside with direct sunlight for a faster color change and ventilation. ❤

I love that it's light green with the darker green leaves on the front and then the darker green with the light green leaves on the back, like two tone on one side then inverted two tone on the other, I love funky sh*t like that 😁😁😁 even better that it's a diy!
