This was so valuable! I don't play baseball, but I'm still learning as much as I can about it all, and this kind of insight is absolutely what this channel is all about. Also, when are the Giants going to offer Hunter an official on-field role? Fielding Coach or something similar? After this season it seems pretty clear that Pat Burrell might not keep his Hitting Coach position. Hunter could do as good a job or better, I feel. But whatever he does, it's always a joy to have him around!

I'm shocked he doesn't have a Gold glove.

Hunter should know. The catch he made in the playoffs where he chased a ball all the way to one of the cutout areas in atraight away right field and jumped at the last second, crashed into the corner of the cutout and held onto the ball. As great as Willie's World Series catch of the Vic Wertz shot.

Wow I guess this is going to help keep people's minds off the fact that they can't win games.

Oracle Park on a bad day or most any night is the most oppressive place to hit fly balls in baseball. We have really paid for not fielding a good outfield group and miscasting Yaz to Center when he is such a good Right Fielder. He is underrated in RF for sure.
