The Turkish Airlines ground staff at Istanbul airport is clearly hired based on their ability to speak English instead of a warm and welcoming disposition to make the 'Miles and Smiles' a reality.


If you are reading this and happen to work with Turkish Airlines and my comments fall ill with you, I am sorry. I am sure you must be someone with heart and dedication to providing the best and safest service for your clients. It's too bad I didn't meet you but had to meet your indifferent, incompetent colleagues instead. It's too bad the first experience with Turkish Airlines was simply a nightmare and I am still shocked on how unprofessional and incompetent the operations managers and customer service department is. Although they expressed hope to welcome me again in the future, I can assure you already, only when hell freezes over. I will never fly with Turkish Airlines again.

Turkish Airlines, keep my money because the way you treat your customers, you are going to need it more then I do.

I'm arriving from the States to IST airport , and exactly 1h and 55 min later I plan to take a domestic flight (also with Turkish Airlines) to ASR airport (Kayseri's). Would that time allow me to catch the flight? Do I need to exit the airport and go back in to check in for the domestic flight?

Turkish Airlines- I am arriving on an International flight from Berlin with a 7 hour layover before my Domestic flight to Nevsehir. I would like to book the Yotel Airside, but am wondering if I required to go through customs/passport control prior to my domestic flight. Can you please help? Having made this international transfer several times , after going through passport control , with its normal 500 people in the queue (!) not shown , I have ended up going through baggage reclaim and found myself outside , having then to recheck in … and re pass through security search .. why can I not find the Domestic transfers after police border controllers ?

Hello, I'm planning to book a roundtrip reservation from EWR to IST. However, I would like to take a domestic flight after I arrive to NAV (Cappadocia). Both flights are Turkish Airlines but they are two separate reservations. I was unable to put this together in one booking. My question is will my checked baggage be able to be automatically transferred to NAV? Or do I need to get my checked baggage once I arrive in Istanbul?
