this is great, thank you! i would love to see a video of your zero waste & vegan eating experiences during your travels!
ОтветитьIn addition to that I always take a cloth NAPKIN, HANDKERCHIEF and glass JAR (as a water bottle or to store snacks/food) with me. The lunch box idea is really good.
Ответитьhow was the bag kit not vegan before? xo
ОтветитьA filter water bottle! Best buy ever - in Vietnam you can't drink the tap water, and if you're travelling you might not be able to boil water all the time. The bottle I use is from Lifestraw, it boasts that you can drink even puddle water completely safely. I've been using it in China, India and Nepal (where the water is described as 'near lethal' and have had no problems.
Ответитьthank you new subscriber from France ^^
ОтветитьWhere can you buy pasta, rice and lentils without packaging in London? Is it just speciality shops or?
ОтветитьOh nooo, I'm Vietnamese and am currently sad because you're coming to Vietnam at a time when I'm not in Vietnam :(
Things I would bring in addition to what you say is a water bottle (with a lot of water because in Vietnam we don't drink tap water like some countries do), reusable straws and reusable napkins (because people often give out napkins). I would love to see my country under your lenses!
And please, if you need tips or if you have any questions about Vietnam or Vietnamese I would love to help!
Dug the video.
ОтветитьYou are so beautiful and lovely. So glad I have found your channel.
Ответитьhello, I hope you can help me. I'm looking to buy some wholefoods (nuts, seeds etc) in eco friendly packages, I've looked online but can't seem to find any, do you have a link please that would point me in the right direction? thanks, Dee
ОтветитьThank you for this list! Such great ideas!
Ответитьgo to distrito federal mexico! it's amazing. my parents are from there.
ОтветитьI love the idea of zero waste living but the resources can be quite hard to find here in my country. and more often than not, I have to order them online. Imagine the packaging. 😫
Ответитьwhat if you need to use both sides of the spork? Like if you eat yogurt or pudding with the spoon, and then want to use the fork? Do they get sticky, or do the wipe clean with a cloth?
ОтветитьChecking out that Zuperzozial website, I am suspisious of their lack of info and wording... they say the materials are based on biodegradable corn and bamboo, but not that the end product is biodegradable?
ОтветитьWhen are you coming to México? Bring Always a Mason Jar with you, there are a lot of delicious food and beverages on the go., also there are tons and tons of markets eerywere. If you have any question that you havent been able to find an answer to, maybe I can help you out!
ОтветитьI really want to go zero waste but idk how to convince my parents to also
ОтветитьAwesome video!! :D Some really great ideas here. I definitely need to add some of these to my travel. I'm moving to a little island for four months soon, what would you recommend to bring along? Its so hard to buy food there, as they need to deliver it from the mainland.
ОтветитьThanks for making this video!
Ответитьi would invest in a good purifying water bottle like grayl or a steripen; the tap water is typically not safe to drink, and if you want to avoid having to get expensive, wasteful bottled water, it's easier to take along a filter bottle or a steri-pen so you don't come down with a bad case of diarrhea or stomach flu. trust me, every time i go back to china (where the tap water is similar to vietnam or mexico) i get sick for pretty much the entire duration because my canadian-grown stomach can't get used to the water.
Ответитьtoothbrush??
ОтветитьI love this idea, especially for packing food/snacks on the go. What are the reactions when you use zero waste products in other cultures? I'm curious how people react - I would think in some places they might see it as insulting or some kind of faux pas not to do things their way, especially if there is a language barrier. Has anyone ever been given a hard time about using these kinds of things when shopping/eating out while traveling abroad?
ОтветитьAdvise: If you're travelling on a budget - don't buy souvenirs near/ on
the way to Chichen itza (very overprised), our bus actually made a stop for an hour in a souvenir shop so that we, being tired and all from a long journey, bought lots of money. The stuff is pretty much the same everywhere. Also, make sure to take an umbrella or something to cover yourself with - it's INSANELY hot and I've seen a few people pass out :D
my biggest problem whilst traveling is water.. I have had to buy plastic bottles while I've been in India since there are no glass bottles, rarely any water filling stations and it's also horrible how they don't have recycling stations anywhere I've been to :/ glad to go back home and live much more zero waste again :)
ОтветитьI've looked the spork up on amazon.....it costs over 40 €............ 😐
ОтветитьReally love the spork. I always end up with some form of plastic fork rubbish when I eat out unexpectedly. Adding that to my shopping list next time I go to wholefoods. It's so small it can really just live in your bag without being a problem. Thanks for sharing and hope you have fun on your travels!
ОтветитьHi, can i just suggest a reuseable cup with a lid for the plane. If you want a hot drink most airlines will only let you use your own cup if you have a lid for it.
ОтветитьHow do you balance your zero waste lifestyle with long haul travel? I am trying to minimise the air miles from myself and my food, but need to fly to visit family and friends. I always have the feeling that any waste reduction I manage is outweighed by my use of planes!
Ответитьbut is wood really better? mean all the cut down trees..
ОтветитьWhat make is the lunch box and spork?? thanks x
Ответитьyour voice..is amazing
ОтветитьHello! I am fiften and I am really interested in zero waste. I was wondering if you could maby make a video about how to live zero waste with others. Or even for a teen like me with parents that will just think it's dumb. I tried to get my dad to recycle. It didn't go good. I also had a few other ideas on videos such as zero waste for musicians, artists, or students. I really love your videos and look forward to more!
ОтветитьYour hair is gorgeous :)
ОтветитьWhat do you do when you are going to an event, like a potluck, but know there will only be disposable plates and you can’t bring something like a ceramic plate?
ОтветитьOn the 'Bag me' website they say that the bags are from 100% polyester. If you wash those bags there are still plastic microfibers going into our water. Right?... Do you maybe have a tip where I can get 100% cotton bulkbags?
ОтветитьThese are lovely, but I worry because the grocery bags are 100% polyester. That means every time they’re washed, they’re releasing thousands of microplastics that will most likely end up in the ocean.
ОтветитьOh my God ! Thank you so much for the information where to buy reusable shopping bags ! BagMeFrankfurt is awesome shop! Can't wait for my purchase to arrive :) Yeah :D You made my day <3
Ответитьwhere can you purchase the lunch box? I would like to purchase a few for gifts! <3
ОтветитьI wish I could find that bamboo box in usa
ОтветитьYou look just like Kalel
ОтветитьHi! I've been watching your channel for a while, you are such an inspiration! Thank you! I wanted to ask you about the lunchbox material: I have found very little to none reliable information about wheat straw. Is it really 100% biodegradable? Is it sustainable? Thanks again, and hopefully you know more than I do about this material!
ОтветитьI enjoyed this video 😊 thank you!
ОтветитьHow do you stay vegan while traveling? I would love some tips
ОтветитьI'm always fascinated by people throwing away plastic cutlery after one use, you can wash and clean plastic and keep it until it breaks, its best to clean it under cold water, but totally possible to reuse. Love the video thanks for sharing.
Ответитьyou remind me of haley Fitzgerald
Ответитьhey! where can i get a lunch box like that? ive been looking for it everywhere!
ОтветитьAlot of foam box in vietnam is bio plastic which it made from scrap of sugar cane
ОтветитьI loved all the products that you showed in this video,as I like to travel lite, thanks for the info
