Cotter Pin hole will be past the hole vs "below".
I'm watching this because my Moog tie-rod end I just put in the bolt was too long... I put on 2 grade 8 washers. I also double and triple checked that I had the right part number...... And torqued to the manu. 67 ft lbs
My Moog ball joints have never included the washer.
Ответитьthat's an installed cotter pin? looks like it would fall right out. then the nut Would back out.
ОтветитьThese cotter pins you give are to damn big for the hole
ОтветитьThat is Proper Castle nut location. But the title says proper Cotter pin installation.
ОтветитьBut what’s the proper way to bend it?
ОтветитьSure would be great if your kits included said washers or at least mentioned them in any provided instructions
ОтветитьSkibidi toilet
ОтветитьSkibidi toilet
ОтветитьGood tip on the height but beyond belief its not shown how to bend the ins which 99.9% of us came here for.....guess you don't bend them...
ОтветитьYoud think theyd include a washer… or at least mention that you need one…. Cmon moog do better
ОтветитьThis video is very helpful thank you for sharing
ОтветитьMight need to lower music volume but other than that very clear instructions
ОтветитьYou didn't show how to install a cotter pin. You bend the long end down so that the tip of the cotter pin is to the center of the bolt when installed properly.
ОтветитьI was wondering which way to bend the cotter pin. This video is useless shame on you Moog
ОтветитьWell, thanks! After 50+ years of car repairs, I finally learned that I’m not supposed to bend the ends of the cotter pin. Sure simplifies the job! 🙄
