Micro Swales / Permaculture

Due to very little top soil and good drainage on a 20° slope, swales were implemented for blueberry bush rows. Each Swale was measured out at eight foot intervals down the slope from each other and cut in at a 1.5° fall off grade toward the ridge center. Blueberries will be planted on the berm.
