For most of us that don't have the tools and equipment this is a waste of time. If you want a tool that is going to do what the end result did go buy the tool and don't waste your time and money trying to make one. Buying the tool will cost you far less.

I lack the patience to continue watching.

I'm pretty sure you can just use jumper cables and a car battery for these projects.

I took apart a microwave when i was young, full permission from my parents and everything. My dad was even an apprentice electrician years before. But he quit after getting eletrocuted once pretty badly... Well then years later is when they gave me permission to take apart the microwave... Needless to say, i am very lucky to be alive. Cause no one warned me that i could die

I’m a retired structural design engineer and making flat patterns were a necessity to get accurate bends of any angle. It’s pretty hard to see how he did that without making one.

I dont think it was worth the time and effort except for the I did it myself reward, and now you have one, the video was well done. Well lit. Good change of work piece to show all you do. And your craftsmanship was A+++.

I generally like your approach to those two final goals BUT it would be illegal in Australia & NZ and some of your machine tool safety practice (lack of face shield) leave a lot to be desired.

If I had all those fancy fabrication tools, I would built cool things like trailers or custom light fixtures, or SOMETHING, and sell them . . .

All of that to make a spot welder.. even though he used a welder to make a welder.. all looks a bit of a faff to me.. but better than mugging old ladies.. I suppose…👍👍
