If you’re of a certain range in age those days when Johnny and John Wayne and all the classic people were around….., wow. It was a very good time. Entertainers were unique from each other. They had to have individual qualities like voices, mannerisms and looks that stood apart from one another . That’s why you don’t see the impressionists and impersonators today. People like Rich Little, Frank Gorshon, John Byner and many others could exist because there were SO many unique celebrities to mimic. Yes, we have a scant few today who mostly rely on one imitation ( see SNL) but ,because of the abundance of talent and endearing personalities, there was limitless material to draw from to imitate. Yeah….. nobody famous now days to mimic. All kind of same ish bland “ celebrities “.

What a wonderful human he was! A legend is an understatement, as they don’t make ‘em like him anymore. You are loved to this day, Mr. Wayne❤️

ahh man what I wouldn't give to be an adult in the 70s. Grateful Dead were on fire, you could smoke anywhere, drugs were still drugs, news and television had integrity and wasn't just slop propaganda for us dumb goyim like today, food wasn't full of crap that will give you all kinds of weird cancers, wages were still OKAY (the beginning of the break off of raising wages from productivity, but wasn't nearly as bad as today), homogenous communities still existed, schools were funded, and on and on and on. Americans now are living in the "Brave New World" and sadly most seem not to even are in the slightest. There will be no revolution by the Proles, the Proles are too divided. sucks feeling completely hopeless about the future. America will probably look like Mad Max mixed with V for Vendetta inside 25 years.

I love John Wayne westerns, and the man himself! I own several of his movies including the only movie he made as a singing cowboy! I believe I've seen every western he ever made. I haven't watched any of his army movies though. I don't care for war, or movies about war. I've also read a biography about his life written by his second wife! He was married 3 times. I call that a slow learner! Ha!

The Duke, represented the America I grew up and believed in. Strong and tough but with humor and empathy. Kinda like Superman, standing for truth, justice and the American way. If he was alive today, he would be ashamed of the America he loved so much. And he sure wouldn't stomach the Mango Mussolini and the cuddling up to Putin and Russia!
