Construction of India's first cable-stayed railway bridge is progressing rapidly in the Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir. This bridge spans the Anji River and has a total length of 725.5 meters. It is divided into four sections, with a 120-meter-long portion being the Approach Viaduct and a 38-meter-long portion serving as the Approach Bridge from the Katra side. The main bridge, spanning a deep gorge, has a length of 473.25 meters and incorporates a cable-stayed design.
