Hidan Is Not Immortal, These Jutsus Can Kill Him

what if hidan due to his special immortality lets him revive like his conciseness just reforms another body, hidan being buried for years his conciseness finally slips out due to starvation and boom his body just reforms again since he is blessed for believing in jashin. he's one of my favorite akatsuki just sucks he's considered the weakest since his abilities were never fully flushed out due to his arc being rushed.

So Lava Release would not melt Hidan down to a gooey mush?

I don't think Hidan can die from malnutrition as during the 4th shinobi war Kakuzu said that since Hidan wasn't with the reincarnated Akatsuki he's still alive, but the war started a loooong time after Hidan was defeated, longer than any living thing could survive without food or water.

Hidan's "immortality" is purely a spiritual one, his physical body is no more durable than any other mortal in the Naruto universe. So yeah, instantaneous, irreparable damage to his whole body, capturing his soul or sealing him with a potent enough sealing jutsu are all valid ways to take him down.

he IS immortal. just not Invincible. two different concepts. immortal means you won't die from old age, Invulnerable/Invincible means can not be killed or harmed.

Thousand years of death. Sure, he would live, but he would never truly survive the embarrassment

In fiction the term "Immortal" doesn't always mean the person can't be killed in any way, shape or form. It usually refers to someone who can live forever.

Typically some combination of agelessness, resistance to disease and a healing factor is more than enough to be considered immortal in the sense a person can live forever, barring one of the few specific ways to kill them.

Vampires are considered immortal, but there are ways to kill them. Few characters become completely unkillable, which I think is the next level up from being capable of living forever barring circumstance.

Hisan is Immortal, he will,live forever as long as he keeps sacrificing to Jashin. Invincible is the word you were looking for. Invincible = undefeatable/unkillable. Immortal = Will not die under normal circumstances (no, getting shot or hit by a bus dont count as normal)

Hidan dies to pretty much anyone with a brain, considering his power of immortality is just long, forever life with some good healing abilities latched on(Like he can just reattach himself and it'll heal in time) but damage doesn't fully heal, as his ear was still missing.

So Rasenshuriken, which SEVERS the Chakra veins would absolutely kill him. Since we don't know much about him, I'll make the assumption it's some form of Kekkei Genkai that keeps him immortal. But it requires, more than likely, some form of chakra, but it's like Gaara's defensive move. It's just activated at all times. RasenShuriken would sever his body, and actually tear it apart like the destrcuto disk in DBZ.

Kakashi's Kamui, just tagets his head, transports it to the other dimension and voila, done.

Gaara's crushing sand Tomb would kill him, if he's crushed into a small little ball he wouldn't survive that.

Majority of his deaths would mainly be done by sealing him into something.

Literally ANY of the Pain of 6 paths could potentially find a means as to kill him, with the ones that you showed in the video being the obvious 2 insta-kills.

Sasori can kill him. His poison is all-powerful and REQUIRES an antidote that Hidan wouldn't even come close to knowing how to make.

Hidan is OP when it came to the match-up that he had, but otherwise quite tame in comparison the majority of higher powers that exist in Naruto that WASN"T Shikamaru's Cell of weak teammates that needed hella time to formulate a specific plan. Naruto RasenShuriken woulda been enough to settle it.

People forget there is various types of immortality. There’s immortality that allows you to live forever as long as no harm comes to you. There’s immortality where a person can regenerate even when killed.

one thing: ohnoki runs out of chakra verrry quickly. You can see that throughout the fight with Madara, Tsunade at the beginning had to restore his chakra, and again during their last struggle/attack, Tsunade charged ALL of her remaining chakra into Ohnoki to fire at Madara. So yeah, that 25 Susano oneshot is SITUATIONAL, Ohnoki cannot pull it off by himself, he needs a large amount of chakra which makes sense bcause tsunade is both senju and uzumaki. Actually, that feat boosts Tsunade because it shows us how much chakra she's got in that 100 healing of her. Same for Raikage, he needed Ohnoki to lighten him for speed and weighten him when attacking to enhance attack weight to break through Susano. Raikage cannot break through a full body Susano on his own, only the rib cage.

But if Hidan is Hit by amateratsu or something like that while using it's jutsu, would the user Die ?

By this logic tho, most jutsu's can kill Hidan, they just have to aim for the head 😶.

Anyone who is able to not get hit by Taijutsu can win against Hidan. Anyone who can fly or phase through attacks. His immortality is only useful for his self sacrifice technique and tanking normal-level attacks. He is basicaly like a worse Sasori, they both have (Sasori with poison) one-hit potential.

Naruto's perfect Rasenshuriken can slice and atomize Hidan like it did with some of the Paths of Pain

Sakon/Ukon's Body merge (so long as Hidan is completely subdued and can't stab himself or bite his tongue)

One reason why Hidan is so cool, though, is that a lot of these jutsus can't be applied if he has already activated his own one. Unless the user sacrifices themselves like for the reaper death seal.
