I'm a big fan of both but I think 28 Days is a little better. If it were a 7 game series 28 Dats wins in 7.

As far as most important, I'm shocked 20 Days didn't win that category because I don't think Dawn even happens without 28 Days. 28 Days brought the hype for Zombie films back

Late to it, but here are where my votes would have went to...
Poster; 28 Days Later. That red just stands out and the hint of desolation left over.
Tagline: Dawn. I mean, how could you not? Its classic.
Opening: Dawn. The whole everyday life leading into pure chaos? Outstanding!
Director: Tough, but Zack Snyder. The blend of action, horror and comedy, that takes a lot to get right.
Characters: Dawn. A range of different characters, plus Max Headroom!
Story: 28 Days Later. Its fresh and new (sort of)
Scarier Threat: Dawn. Its global. Its everywhere. And they dont move away, they stay, limiting your options to escape.
Atmosphere: 28 Days Later... That tunnel scene is so damn intense!
Fave scene: This was tough too! The montage scene in Dawn was fun! But....The deserted London was so damn eerie that it takes the cake!
More Important: 28 days later kicked off the fast "zombies" and influenced many other media. I dont think we would have had Dawn 04 without 28 Dyas Later...
FX: Dawn. The look of the zombies as they "age" (bright blood through to darker oily blood) The limbs missing, the heads exploding...
Selena or Anna: Selene. Absolute asskicker.
Jim or Michael: Jim. Michael was too much of a "nice" everyday man, Jim had that dark streak which we see in the last act.
It Factor: Dawn. No contest. Overall I can watch it over and over. It got a streak of fun, but mixed with horror.
3 fave characters: Jim, Selene and TJ.
Scariest Scene: The stairwell scene in Dawn. They make the way through the sewers, and then up the stairs and the faces of the dead coming up behind them...
Finale: Dawn. Leaving the mall, the zombies chasing the buses, the scene on the dock... and then the island.
Choose: Dont make me.... Hahaha! Nah, Dawn. Its the overall better film.

And of course Dawn Of The Dead wins. As it should lol!
