Had the best time with old friends at the Reunion at JBLM. I'm proud of the fact that, at one time in my life, I was part of something bigger than me. I served with those "specially selected and well-trained Soldier"(s) in C/CO 2/75 (93-96).

I read a biography of Erich von Manstein. His plan led to the downfall of France in six weeks. He captured Sevastopol, the most heavily defended fortress in Russia. Outnumbered 2:1, he defeated the Red Army at Kharkov, stabilizing the entire southern front. He got 40,000 German soldiers out at Korsun despite being outnumbered 3:1. However, no ranger tab, so there is nothing to learn from him. His military skills simply can't compare to a 20-year-old tabbed E-4 in Ranger Battalion who completed a 62-day military school.

Don’t get me wrong the rangers been around for several decades but I know that the original frogman started in ww2 and it’s different when 2 beach landings played a big part and not a scratch storming those beaches I would have to thank my ancestors for surviving this country and our own country of Scotland kinda funny when a ancestor was a general for the United States of America ❤❤❤❤❤ but not many relatives knew that when I found out 😮
