It’s a shame the developers kind of fucked up the lore in Shadowlands. Other than that, Wrath of the Lich King is one of my top tier expansions of World of Warcraft.

These poor souls don't understand, they have sang the song of a thousand stories! We are now doomed to repeat the same story every fifteen years!

My respect for every single one of these musicians is absolutely unmesurable.

Back when Blizzard was a gaming company.

One of the best performances I've seen of this song. One of my favorites. So much emotion; a scene of vast grandeur, reverence, majesty and sorrow. Darkness bathed in hope and light. You brought it to life. It's not just a song from a game. It's a beautiful composition that everyone should hear. I hope I am fortunate enough to hear more.

Very powerful performance, I commend them.

Tell what you want, Arthas was the greatest, most noble and selfless of them, if only Older superior, Parent and Love of his life could see he was right and help in time... But only Arthas was brave and dedicated enough to try to save People, against overwhelming odd and Greater Darkness, even if it turned all this way... there is more than one lesson in this fictional story...

I never even played WoW myself really, but my friend is huge Arthas enjoyer and showed me this song a long time ago. I've been hooked into it ever since and this version just takes it to new level. Wish I could just find myself in concert where they play this.

Can anyone tell me, in which way this is lesser art than Bach or Mozart? Modern orchestral music exists, but unlike 200 years ago its not to scratch the ego of rich elites. it's to accompany the visual part which are movies and games.
I dare to say more and better orchestral music was created now than back then.

I was with them tonight at DR Koncerthuset.. Part of me wished to hear this song live at there but other part of me didn't want it becouse i don't wan't to cry like a baby :)..

This is a very well performed piece. The Scinematic of Wrath of the Litch King was one of the strongest moments in gaming history for me. Although i stand on the point that the hight of the solo should be sung by a young choir boy as a matter of preference regarding the feeling that specific sound gives to the very peak of emotions i feel when listening to the song. Brings me back to the original feeling which i stil feel very strongly was a good memory.

Every time i listen this music i feel goosebamps.. few will understand what i mean...
