I found my female Boyd’s bear with her baby bear on a bike still in the box at the bins lol she is so cute tags and all….. I too have been looking for the thick mixing bowls the ones with that strip around them and I can’t find them either…. Good for you covering yourself from the sun great deals mama

What I’m trying to learn is the trick for Estate sale auctions for furniture. There is some sort of trick to it, I’m seeing people with the most unbelievable deals.

Sarah, lots of cute finds. Love the hat and the silver bowl. We had our community garage sale today and yesterday. My husband is a pro at finding great things at estate sales and then reselling them...lawn mowers, power tools, computers... I have become disappointed with our Goodwill stores here in Colorado. It seems they keep the good stuff for their online sales and the prices on what's left are so high. I do the majority of my thrifting at estate sales these days, and garage sales during the summer. I feel great about what we cleared out today. What doesn't get sold gets donated...doesn't come back into the house....that means I have room for new old stuff!!!❤

Sarah, as a former Boyd's collector, I really enjoyed seeing your Boyd's Bears. My dear friend and I were avid QVC watchers and wish we had banked the money instead of buying the bears, dolls and resin figures. We did love our Boyd's but all the $ spent! When my husband and I traveled the US in summer of 2009, we even visited the Boyd's store in Pennsylvania. 🧸

Great thrift Hall, I love the striped cooler bag. And I think the little boy bear will look so cute in your end of Green Gables bedroom in my grand daughter’s bedroom. I have a little bear on her bed as well that I Thrifted possibly avoid something that was very good quality!

There is a pretty good thrift store in port Townsend Washington, we went today, it was pretty good!😊

For your thriftin directory, in northeast Ohio there is a Goodwill Bins on Waterloo Rd. in south Akron that's really good. And the Hartville Thrift Store in Hartville Ohio. There is also a large flea market in Hartville

I have two old bandaid tins that I’ve hung onto forever!

My wife has been on the lookout for the white French mixing bowls. Everything she found was either chipped/cracked or so expensive she couldn’t justify the cost. Then she watched Magnolia TV and saw a an identical set of Home and Hearth bowls for under $100 with a 20% off coupon for new shoppers. Sometimes vintage is just not going to happen.

Deseret Industries in Puyallup has good prices. They permanently closed the Olympia bins so I’ve had to go north. 😂 I made a trip to McMinnville, OR a few weeks ago and took a detour to a Vancouver bins to get my fix. 😂
