The Winter Challenge footage unlocked memories for me, I believe my aunt had it on her work computer in the mid-90's. I don't think I found it very fun but hey, if it was the only game available you know 12 year old me was gonna play the heck out of it!

Here’s the thing about sports in real life, you’re watching other people playing a game. I don’t get it?
I know Mini-Putt from the C64 & it was truly impressive on that platform, so I can see the DOS version being pretty good?
I don’t think I’ve plaid Shufflepuck Cafe but there are a lot of 3D Pong/Air Hockey games like it so it may be one I’ve seen? Either way it’s not something that would have held my attention.
I know Panza Kick Boxing from the Amiga & the animation & move set was great but still not enough to hold my attention, at least in single player.
I don’t know The Games:, Winter Challenge or Summer Challenge but it’s sudo-3D was impressive for the time & would have scratched my 3D itch back then.
Never plaid Alien Olympics but it looks like an old-school joystick killer played on a keyboard? I wish I could remember which 8bit era joystick plugged in to it’s base using a coaxial connector? It was always fun to give that one to a mate & watch it come apart in his hands mid multiplayer race? 😄
Kingpin Bowling is excellent & great fun, especially multiplayer which is quite impressive given that it seems relatively simple, until you actually play it but yeh, single player isn’t much more fun than Elf Bowling… blasphemy, I know.😄
Oh my goodness, Battlesport takes me back! It was truly a foundation for some modern e-sports games but was absolutely best played 2 player, because pissing off your mates with a perfectly timed shot is absolutely the biggest part of multiplayer games. 😄

Wow! You’ve managed to find some sports games I actually care about & 1 or 2 to try even though I’m not big on sports games! Thank you!

Another series of games where I need friends to play. :S At least some of these are turn-based, so I can pretend to be more people. :D
What do you mean The Games: Winter Challenge is a B-lister? I protest. :D It's A+ in my book. It's great fun, plays well and really pretty. Dad and I played this game so much! :D My favourite is also the bob sled, but dad and I could never get the ski jump. We didn't know the controls for landing. This was one of my favourite games back then. :) I remember having Summer too, but didn't play it as much. The events you show don't look familiar for some reason... Strange.
Um, do you really punish your keyboard for being a bad girl? XD

sports games in this era were so much fun,, remember that arcade game with the sprinters running and you had to move the joystick side to side really fast to make them run at all. Games from a different time, when sports games were more like pixelated cartoons

Panza Kick Boxing is definitely underrated. A very deep and skilful fighting game.

That's awesome. I don't recall playing any of these, which means they're all new to me.

Things like air hockey and skeeball should be in the Olympics. Are they trying to tell me that I'd enjoy watching the modern pentathlon than those?

I don't think there's a single decent title in here. Take off the nostalgia glasses.

I played the hell out of Shufflepuck Cafe on the Amiga 1000, and must make the mandatory announcement that the Amiga version is superior.
