I have been loving this class!!

The adrenalish rush signature perk actually restores ~10% health not 1%. It must have been a typo in the description or it possibly might be bugged but it restores way more than 1%

Do not listen to these perks, only a few picks are actually good, 300+ hours on vanguard ruthless.

I have heard that range is better for the melta, I’ve been a range stan for a bit, but I’m going to swap to that melta version and give it a go

I think the grapple execute perk is bugged atm since it doesnt seem to work for me anymore.

New to Space marine as a whole what's the quickest way to get to these weapons

Vanguard aka Reaver Squad deserve to be a quick lightning terror attack. I took the perk that said "heals 1% of health after execution a major is or higher enemies" however the truth is not 1%, it's 10%. With this I don't require much of medistims

Fencing and duelist gives you 100% perfect parry.. 100%. Perfect park has a knockback and short stun. It lets you wade through enemies as if they are nothing.

When using melta gun I don't need to aim. I just shoot 😎. I just shoot then light dodge before I shoot again. Perfect tactic. Just need to train to perfect parry and dodge

I like the Chainsaw more for the Vanguard then the Combat Knife. Especially for Adrenaline Rush it helps out a ton. You are literally unkillable on the Battlefield. My favorite class to play because of how fast you can mob and not use a single steam.

"Surprizingly hard to kill" will be fixed. Melta AoE allows huge damage which overheals past contested HP (i.e. free heals).

how exactly do you grapple finisher?

Does anyone know how the talent Zone of Impact works? How do I do a finisher with the grapnel? Do I have to hold the ability key and then press the finisher?

Just played it today for the first time. Only played campaign up to defend the orbital cannons, then started playing online. Should i finish the campaign before playing online.

Definitely my favorite class so far

As a vanguard main, always grapple on hordes (if no tank) and ranged enemies (if no sniper), vanguard basically fill those 2 roles if one of them is missing, it's versatile and super fun to play with, I don't even touch my sniper class anymore

I swear to God, if they don't nerf the FRICK out of these damn heretics I'm done playing this damn game.

Please Please Please start talking about what comes next, do we go for raids? gear drops we need to carry out of operations to equip? another 10 levels of progression? new weapons? we need to start talking about this now. this game has some much potential for PVE dungeon grind gameplay we cant let it fail!!!

Why the knife and not the sword

Why not set the knife to fencing so you have a higher parry window since the melta rifle does most of the damage

Is there a level vanguard pops off at? I keep referring back to the video but I think I just suck at melee, the melta reload is also throwing me way off coming from max sniper and not having really done melee except a stray mob

How are u getting 8 perk points

Once you get to diffculty 3 or 4, the multi-rifle feels so weak, i even have an 8 round magazine, and it takes 8 shots at point blank range to take down a single medium-sized enemy. It would be great if i could level it up, but I cant get through a single operation on difficulty 3 to get the upgrade materials to level it up, so that I can complete difficulty 3. The power spike is insane, and they make is so that either the guns do less damage or the enemies have way more health on difficulty 3/4. It takes away the power fantasy and you feel super weak.

But they said multi melta aren't good in pvp as proven I. The match that most of the vanguard prefer Bolter carbine than melta in pvp

I have a question, the one perk says it refunds the grappling hook if I use it for a finisher, how do I initiate such a finisher? If I grapple to an enemy which is executable it doesn't work and if I use it on an enemy that dies from the hook shot or impact itself it also doesn't work. Am I missing something ?

How exactly do you use Tactical Prowess? I mean, how do you perform a finisher with the grapnel launcher? You can’t choose which finisher he does

What is the max class level for PVP? I’m currently rank 7 captain, sometimes it says MAX and sometimes it gives me XP for first captain rank 8. Not sure if it’s a bug or what. Anyone know?

Chainsword wouldn't be a better pick as a backup? I'm not sure I understand the real value in the combat knife. I like it more, I just don't personally understand why it's better?

This class is so bad compared to Tactical Marine. Scan is 10000% better than grapple.
