I went to the movie premiere (or showing or something) of Once Upon a Mattress and met Carol Burnett and I think possibly a couple other cast & crewmembers. I was dressed in a cute little blue dress and had a crown headband, and Carol called me a little princess 🥰✨✨ I think I was like 7 or 8 years old 🤣

No fucking clue why we were there or how we got invited but it happened 🤣🤣

Hadestown is coming back to my city and I gor tickets. I can't wait to see it.

Is it just me, or when they are showing the Nomad pallette, one of the colors shows as purple in the mirror, but in the pallette, it's blue??

I am so with Johnny on Hadestown - if you can go see it go and see it, and even if you can't listen to the soundtrack. It is such a carefully, well thought out show that despite being an adaptation of a well known myth is still doing something so new and interesting. And I don't know a single person who has being willing to listen to it on my recommendation (even people who are kinda meh about musicals) who hasn't loved it.

The nomad formula, especially the topper formula, is so nice and consistent. I have 3 on my shelf right now to rotate for fall - Ghost Town USA, Hudson valley, and Fuji Five Lakes. Ghost Town I bought in 2022, Hudson valley 2023, and Fuji this year. All three perform the same and I mix and match throughout. Highly recommend.

The older i get, the more depressing it gets because no matter how far upward i move in my career, each year it becomes more impossible to actually enjoy the holidays with my kids because of finances. Every damn year man. This year, we arent having layoffs but my company is closing for 3 fucking weeks because the upper management rushed production to finish way too soon, and instead of rewarding everyone with a bigger bonus, and laying us off so that we can still get paid, upper management is getting bigger bonuses for saving the company so much money by closing early. So now every dime i had for gifts and dinner i have to use for bills to keep a roof over our heads. Im so sick of everything going wrong. I know this isnt the place to complain randomly about my personal life, but every year once the christmas music starts playing on the radio, something financially miserable happens and my life goes to shit until tax time. Im so tired of the same damn depressing bullshit. I just want to decorate and bake pies and make memories with my kids.

Speaking of Dior Savage, I bought it for my dad on fathers day i think two years ago. When I told my friends about it they said "oh that is a fuck boy fragrance." And I was like "I saw it in sephora, liked the bottle, and it smelled great so I bought it, my whole family loved the scent and the bottle!" Fortunately, I don't live my life on the internet and am open to trying things others might not be because its not viral or its meant for a negative type of person. Smelling all 4 intensities of the perfume and picking my favorite was a great experience. If dior savage is for fuck boys, then fuck boys smell great!!!
