ОтветитьReally wanted an engine capacity increase for this model, was hoping an 850, to offset the weight. Bike looks nice tho'. Might wait to see if the shotgun price drops, might pick up a bargain. 👍

ОтветитьIf I was to buy this classic, I absolutely would not get rid of my 350 classic.
The 650 is basically the 350 with a bigger engine.
The 350 is what the old Enfield was .
Single cylinder air cooled with no oil cooler rad.
But many people wanted more power, and without designing a totally new powerplant Enfield has listened and IMHO it will sell well to the I want a real retro not a LC wannabee.
Suspension is big no no. Classic means comfort. This is not

ОтветитьBack tyre needs to be wider and higher,or change the back wheel for a more smaller wheel with bigger(in height) tyre ....just my preference 😁.

That 650cc engine has become yesterday's leftover curry which you desperately need to finish and putting it in everything.
ОтветитьIf this beast gets a puncture ,
A) nobody can pull it along with a tubed flat tyre.
B) no street side mechanic is tech savy enough to open that tyre out from those double disced claws.
C) even if they open it. If they remove the tyre with their roadside gear , without proper rim machinery. There is so much probability that they shall bend that aluminium rim.
Can't wait to get my feet toasted, as I squeeze through the day and evening traffic, commuting signal to signal...😊

And for India 170 mm ground clearance is minimum.

ОтветитьNot value for money.... Others bikes have USD & sliper clutch & quick shifter& traction control & ride by wire & TFT meter .....royal Enfield have nothing.... Only in Himalayan....but in Himalayan have lot's of mechanical problems

ОтветитьNothing screams "FREEDOM" like a good retro classic styling motorcycle. And this one does with all its 650cc displacement. But hold on and wait for tubeless tyres. Tubed tyres are a big no. Also, a stiff suspension makes zero sense on this kind of bike.
