No Textbook Required: Converting courses to no-cost course materials to support student success

66.6% of students forgo purchasing textbooks due to their cost, despite knowing that their grades will be impacted. This presentation highlights and offers guidance on different approaches to replacing a required textbook, discusses their benefits, and shares active learning strategies and non-disposable assignments that can enhance student engagement.
