I do not care about the health aspects of drinking coffee, like polyphenols. I drink coffee because it lifts me up. Food gives me vitamins, minerals etc.

Oh, the Gloria of academia and the ivory towers.

He’s probably taking a lot of classes in your life.

Perhaps the one you missed was statistics.

Honestly, I think this video is a bunch of horseshit.

Sorry to throw a defecation at your life work.

I think people should drink coffee and tea, however, they like.

Your correlations are a bit like saying money is green, grass is green, so grass is money.

I know it’s a pretty pessimistic comment.

I gave you video a thumbs up.

I know I have a choice of stopping a video and not listening. I did that eventually.

I’m going to have a cup of coffee with milk in it and enjoyed it.

I think my gut will be working just fine for the rest of the day and when I die I’m ready to do so knowing I enjoyed my coffee the way I like it.

I don’t know why I kept listening to your video but after hearing it to the end, I really have come to dislike what you have to say.

Anyone who tell me not to drink French roast can go where the sun doesn’t shine.

The health implications are negligible at best and there is no approvable, direct relation that holds statistical significance.

I apologize again about the negative response.

In the end I suppose I am just like you have fairly opinionated individual.

Best,

Mats Hagstrom, MD

I drink french roast drip style. I add a moderate amount of Whipping cream and a teaspoon of sugar. I will never change. I take no perscription drugs. I am the happiest person I can be. No thanks to you.

Until now I was told to add milk in coffee. I hate it since a child drinking my milk with coffee in. So, I don't add milk or creamer if the coffee is drincable. But everybody said that coffee without milk was bad. Nos I am told not we shouldn't add milk. this is something like eat or not eat eggs. In the seventhy's ut was a poison, one a week enough, now, eat 3 -5 a day is good! but a few days ago they started saying eggs are kind of bad, again. I think coffee is good for the brain, It is something to enjoy. Drink less and you can afford a good kind of coffee. Only need a filter and hot water plus the good coffee. By filter you can buy a plastic one resembling half a cup and some paper good for filtering that do not contain a lot of chemicals. Enjoy. Salute. oh yeas, eat a little pastry, if you can, while enjoying your coffee.

I'm surprised heavy cream wasn't mentioned. No protein or carbs. If you get a brand without emulsifiers it is just healthy, stable, saturated fat with vitamins A, D, and K2.
Oats are also high in phytic acid which prevents the absorption of proteins and minerals.
Almond products are very high in oxalates that also prevent the absorption of minerals as well as forming crystals with calcium that accumulate throughout the body causing pain, inflammation, and sometimes urinary stones

I dont think you could equate the longevity of the Japanese/Chinese with the British, just with a loose correlation of Milk added to tea and average lifespan. There are so many other key factors, such as diet, lifestyle habits, etc.

Ответить
@burnt1ce85
@burnt1ce85 - 02.10.2024 21:56

The claim that adding milk to coffee entirely negates the benefits of polyphenols isn’t entirely accurate. While milk proteins can bind to some polyphenols, research shows that this interaction doesn’t necessarily eliminate all polyphenol absorption or their positive effects. Additionally, other factors like overall diet, lifestyle, and coffee quality contribute to health outcomes more than the milk-coffee combination alone. Suggesting that the longevity differences between cultures are primarily due to milk in tea or coffee oversimplifies a complex issue. It’s better to focus on balanced nutrition rather than demonizing specific combinations!

I just watched a video on coffee with or without milk and it stated that milk slows down the release of polyphenols but eventually both still release the full quantity into the body. I also think that the Japanese diet is probably far superior in general to that of the uk due to the high amount of junk food we eat between breakfast and bedtime, just my thoughts 😅
