For four decades, the Boggy Bayou Mullet Festival was Niceville's main attraction. Huge country artists, tens of thousands of people, money to be made... arrests to be made, too.
The festival was no stranger to controversy!
The last festival was held in 2019 - and cancelled by COVID in 2020.
Now an entertainment group led by a Fort Walton Beach Event Team wants to bring the festival back to the masses.
But that same event planner, Matt McKinnon says the push back he's getting was not something he expected.
Here's what he plans to do next.
