Railnet - Royal Mail's £150m Waste (Reworked)

Wonder if the road approach to PRDC still has heating under the tarmac \m/

We are supposed to be all about "green" now, so stupid to move mail off rail. And less mail vans on the roads means more space for my car :)

You’d think in this day of rapid package delivery you’d want a way to bring packages and mail right into the middle of a city and have them distributed from there, but I guess not.

I used to be part of the EWS management team in Wembley that looked after the Princess Royal Willesden Royal Mail terminal back in the early 2000s.
I used to be fascinated how complex the management of the mail sacks and parcels was in the terminal.
So sad to see it all go. The system worked but the old excuse of money started to make it's presence known.
