S9meth8ng about watching skating in the early 2000’s gives me the most intense feeling of nostalgia, that I physically feel a densities of nostalgic feelings in my chest when I watch this baker footage. Baker 3 was such an influence on me and my friends that did what every skate crew did, which was go out every weekend on the bus all throughout 6th,7th,and 8th grade, staying at each others pads on Friday night, waking up at 7 or 8, just JAZZED to skate and emulate Baker 3, new blood, flip sorry and really sorry....That time of my life was just so good thanks to skating and what skating with friends IS . I watch these tapes and wonder like, what was I doing on that very moment this was being filmed. Had I even started skating yet? Th8s was before Baker 3 and I remember when baker 3 came out I’d been skating for probably almost a year or less...man, NOSTALGIC!!

I still remember the day Baker 3 dropped. All my boy's were GLUED to Antwuans part. We knew this dude was the next big thing and we watched it back religiously before we would go out for a session. Herman's part may have been the best of Baker 3 (especially for me because Herman was my idol)...but as for the part that made the most IMPACT around the skate community and the part that had EVERYONE talking, it was DEFINITELY Antwuans part. His style was flawless. Everyone was trying to take a bite off of Dixons steeze after his part dropped lol.
