Great machine and concept. I am surprised this type of equipment is no longer available, small turning radius with a roller, cheaper than the hydraulic complication of a zero turn.
ОтветитьIm from the US and have never seen one of these.... Very cool bit of kit!
ОтветитьHighly watchable. I notice that when reassembling the carb you know the exact settings for the various adjustable screws.
Ответитьnever seen a westwood in real life
ОтветитьHey it gets the job done and with some style and flash!
ОтветитьI went back a bit to check out some older videos and this was a fun and unique video thanks 😊
ОтветитьPark. Traktor
ОтветитьI love this mower. Older machines have an aura that is completely missing in newer models. My 1954 Yazoo 60" mower was the first to be able to turn around its own front tyre axis with a single steering rear wheel and a transaxle with two wheels in front. It is a real beast and I love to use it once a week in our English-style park.
ОтветитьThats a cool design 😀
ОтветитьThat 8hp Briggs was a Beast. Powered many different brands of equipment. And it is U.S. made. Not British.
ОтветитьLooks like it'd be a nice mower thank you for the video
ОтветитьYou are cool
ОтветитьDefinitely a unique machine, and only for 100GBP at that!
One of the few things where electrification would make sense, as well. Plenty of room for a battery up front and wheels can be replaced with hub motors when those drive gears get too worn out. Being small and even more quiet it would fit its original purpose rather well.
Hello could you please tell me how to use this mower as I have one but I don’t have any Instructions with it
ОтветитьLooks like it did a fine job of cutting, and the fun factor only adds to it!
ОтветитьSomeone I know has bought a piece of land and they had a couple of old mowers on. A clipper was one of them and it has been untouched for 15 years can't wait to start restoring it
ОтветитьWell done ☺️
ОтветитьCute little machine. I feel like it would be easier to steer if the posts for the drive wheel units had a little line marker [or 'flag'] on the top of each, to indicate at what angle the wheels are facing in relation to the mower, to make steering in tight turns less clunky... Since the only other way to ascertain the angle of the wheels is to lean out to the side and try to peak under the body, while driving.
ОтветитьAwesome job restoration carburetors
ОтветитьWhat a Kool machine.
ОтветитьSo cool👍👍👍
ОтветитьWow what a great find there. I'd love to have one myself but for now I'll stick with my old Rover Ranger.
ОтветитьReminds me of the Honda Dynamow, another zero turn mower.
ОтветитьNow that’s a sweet ride! Live the concept. Stripes are awesome. Thanks for sharing. Nice buy! I’m sure you have answered this but what do you do with all the machines you restore? Thanks
ОтветитьHow do you keep your nails so clean doing your job?
ОтветитьReally love the narrated videos!
ОтветитьI like this mower very much. The steering wheel may belong to a racing Morris Mini.
Thanks and cheers from Germany
sero turn is good but big drawback. grass does get damaged :(
ОтветитьYou know you owe it to yourself and the all of us to rototill that yard and put in a million-dollar lawn!!! you've got all the equipment now 😃
ОтветитьI have a Westwood w11 mower that i got for free
ОтветитьWhere Can i find such a machin?
ОтветитьLooks a nice machine to operate. Thanks for showing us 👍
ОтветитьWe serviced and sold one of these horrors.
Ответитьcan it be used without collecting the clippings?
Ответитьwhat a great design , thanks for showing
ОтветитьIs this your channel
ОтветитьOmg ive never seen or heard of one but i want one <3
ОтветитьI've only heard of the brand name, and never heard of this particular machine.
Ответитьmower deck seems not to be level
ОтветитьNot going to lie … you going around in circles was hilarious 😆
ОтветитьAt least it has good compression
ОтветитьI have a 8hp Murray mower but the carb keeps leaking and it doesn't start. Before the carb was leaking and it would start
ОтветитьYou should get yourself an ultrasonic cleaner for the carbs mate
ОтветитьHey MR, I have just been given a Westwood s800, late 1980’s machine from what I can gather in fairly good condition. Where would you recommend I look for new / used parts? I primarily work on modern machines and Im struggling to find much for these old yokes. Even if you happen to have any Westwood parts machines, only need a pto pulley, drive clutch spring and possibly a left foot board, the rest is pretty good.
ОтветитьNice
ОтветитьGreat work sir. Where do you source your new/old stock from ? 👍🏻🔧
ОтветитьAmazing
