Completely off topic, but in this animation- she kinda reminds me of the princess from slay the princess, in both design and character.

I feel like this could've happened if she didn't have that realization of being the lost princess

When she found the dark spell in the show, she could use that to bring chaos to the whole world

Imagine she finds out he tied to the ships wheel. And realizes her mom might be behind it

Can’t help but think that in another alternate universe, Mother Gothel had truly loved Rapunzel .
Now what kind of story would that be if Rapunzel still went out and explored the world…?

Someone needs to make a movie about this one like an alternative universe and have this and also is this on spotify

I kinda wish there was a bit of symbolism used with Rapunzel trading her pan for Gothel's dagger when See the Light kicked in.

Like instead of having a weapon that could provide defense and offense, now she's completely dedicated to offense. Now she is just going to hurt people.

Imagine if mother wasn’t the villain

I really love the way this touches on how abuse survivors fall back into their abuser's tactics if they're unable to find a better coping mechanism or healthy relationship.
To be clear I mean that thinking the abuser (Gothel) is right and life would have been so much easier if they'd continued in ignorance of how life could be outside the tower. The hurt that a heartbreak left on Rapunzel is worse than the hurt her "mother" did right now and honestly save her ignorance she had it pretty good in the tower so if she could go back? Doesn't seem so bad.

This is of course a delulu coping mechanism for the grief, pls don't go back to those who hurt you.

For a second at the end, I thought she arrived in town just in time to see Flynn get hanged because the sketch of her on the dock looked like she was hanging. I know it's not the case, but it would make sense if this takes place after he was taken to prison and tricked into thinking he abandoned her since before his escape he was scheduled to be execute (iirc)
