omg athletism is not built in any weight room. That must be said because soo many see this and think they need to lift.
Lifting does not magically make you a better athlete.

Dane, you should highlight some other S&C coaches out there that you really like. This was great.

I started peak strength for my son for football. His squat has gone from 205 to 270 in just two months.

In high school way back in the 70s and early 80s we had a track coach that was considered very radical for his time (at the HS level). He always had us in the weight room working on explosive movements with slow eccentrics then exploding on the finish, and had his jumpers doing the exact same hurdle drill as the video (double bounce, 2 leg jump) except we did single legs as well. The downside was he was kind of a jerk and you were expected to vomit during high intensity days (yes, this was old school). Very demanding and motivated out of fear, but we all bought into his system because that's all we knew. End result was the school won the section championships like 11 out of 15 years long after I was gone. We had multiple state champions and 3 of his athletes won Olympic gold medals. If you take away the jerk part he was a great coach from a programming perspective.

I’ve gotten several ideas from Joey’s account over the last year that’s been very helpful!! I’m a young coach and I’ve been getting more young athletes coming to me so I get to pass on the great info he shares.

While young people are all strong and cool, but at 60 they are old and sick. I am 60 years old, I invite everyone to my channel and I will tell you how to stay strong and healthy at 60 years old.

Thank you for the upload Coach! Awww bro I have to put: "front squat 2x body weight" on my list of aims now! Currently at bodyweight. Was just looking to progress overtime ... like a really long time :::)) now I have to look to boost it to 2x BW. Will start on this after I finish the Zeus off season programme as it is a refreshing rest period for me before going all out again.

Peace & Love!
