Is anyone available to tell me why AT&T isn't offering the 9 Pro Fold??? I called to pre-order last week. The representative upgraded without knowing if the phone was available for pre-order so, I had to file a claim & go through hoops to get my money back 🤦🏾🙄

Hmm took the plunge and preordered after 10+ years using mostly iPhone pro models. Only gripe I have is that the AI model should be included in the price of the phone rather than a monthly subscription!

I bought a Pixel Fold last year. Horrible experience. The inner screen got dead pixels within 3 months. Sent it to the US for repair under warranty. Got it repaired and back to India only to see that the outer cover display was completely unresponsive to touch. Sent it back immediately and got it repaired under warranty once again, again to get the same unresponsive front screen issue.

Tried repairing in India and was forced to return and exchange it for Pixel 8 Pro which is nearly half the amount for which I bought the Fold for. I had to give in to this as they said they don't have the software repair support in India and hardware is not available. I wasn't even offered a Pixel 9 which was the latest Pixel in exchange.

Finally I decided to go ahead with returning my Fold which I barely used for 3 months and lose almost a lakh of Rs by exchanging it for Pixel 8 Pro because the warranty period was getting over the very same day and my Fold had already broken down thrice.

I seriously lost my faith in Google after this experience and wouldn't suggest anyone going for Pixel Folds yet. The technology hasn't yet matured and is not ready for support.

Can you do most basic phone things (calls, texting, using one app?) on the outer screen or do you have to unfold it for everything? That’s what has kept us away from folding phones so far.
